    Where in the 1st round will Derek Carr go

    Dude not over hype as the Bortles, Manziel and Bridgewater. Bridgewater is probably another Akli Smith. Bortles is a bust. Manziel has potential to do damage if he goes to the Texans. This kid Carr is fairly mobile and also has a canon of an arm. Dude would fit perfectly with the Vikings, considering that he never had a running back at Fresno State for him to playaction off of.

    Carr very well xould go first rd. Teams reach for qbs all the time. If jags/raiders miss out round 1 they could definitily take him rd 2. Can't see him falling to rd 3 however.

    Jags raiders cards jets vikings all need qb. Cards obviously least of those but still they should be looking to groom palmers replacement

    I like him but in the 4th at best. There is 3 in the SEC I'd take over him.

    But seriously, you can't be taking these guys in the first 2 rounds. There will be some good QB's avail in the 3rd and beyond. Johnny Man is the only one worthy of a top 5 pick. He could be a Drew Bress type. But Bridegwater and Bortles? maybe & good luck, not worth a 1st.

    Too bad there isn't any odds on it, because Carr will get drafted in the 1st round you heard it here first. Heck, I hope the Broncos take him. The kid is mobile and throw 60 yards passes with ease. The kid definitely has the physical tool to be a good QB. Forget that he played in the Mountain West, Joe Flacco played for Delaware and look where he's at.

    im sure you will be able to find something closer to draft time on him as far as odds.......flacco originally went to pitt....hes a good qb but not a great one....one could argue he might have been on his way out of town if werent for rahim "the dream" moore and a great playoff run......he followed followed that up with a stinker of a season........carr may have all the physical tools but he did play in the mountain west....people wont forget that...his brother played there too......im not saying someone wont roll the dice with him.....i dont think anyone should be completely dismissed based on their conference or previous success(lack thereof) by his brother....but he has some things working against him

    Jamarcus Russell was freakish athlete but he was lazy and didn't do anything in the off season to improve his game. Dude was their just to collect a paycheck. Carr is mature, married, has a kid, so you won't have to worry about him doing anything stupid like these other bust in the past. Having his brother and ex-Fresno State QB Trent Dilfer as a mentor also help him more to prepare for the NFL.
