Made a withdrawl via Bodog for over $13000.00, Bodog split the checks and one for $10K and then another check for the rest.. Was going to use ** however in my state the MAX per week cashout is only $450.00 and at that rate would take over a year to get my $$$$.... Hopefully Bodog pays fast here... I will keep everyone posted once I get my check.. we'll see how long it takes them...

    ** vs. Check

What do you need to present at the ** office when you go to pick up cash? Do you need ID that matches the same address you use with BoDog? Or do you just need to match the name?

When I signed up for BoDog, I didn't want to use my home address, so instead, I used a work address. Obviously, my drivers license has my home address, so I'm worried that ** may not be an option for me - depending on the ID requirements while picking up the cash.

    JC,

You are a smart guy so I am not sure where you are going with this but if you read back through this thread you will see the ridiculous and unfounded comments this guy just spews from his slander-hole.

Here are some of the highlights from just the first page.

Did not read the globe and mail article. Cheers.

    - I heard the customer service people sit around the Antigua with nothing to do but scratch their asses.

    - A more likely scenario would be Bodog waiting for revenue from the big PayPerView fight on Sat. nite. If this is the case, it appears the speculation of Bodog being nothing more than a glorified Ponzi scheme will grow legs.

    - Ayre's a real charmer, and a top notch grifter, but he doesn't have immunity. I would put him in the Joe Francis of Girls Gone Wild category. The feds are doing an Al Capone on Francis.

    - Ayre and Francis are criminal sociopaths, they prey on the weaknesses of others. I think the only reason Ayre is not behind bars yet is because the Feds are building a bigger case.

Mike Cash's Head found, He's speaking through Calvin's belly- button

You didn't bother to read the Globe and Mail article? Well, maybe you should. It does indeed paint a picture of a man who can properly identified as a criminal sociopath. The simple fact he claims to have slept with eight thousand women is itself a clanging warning sign. How much did the guy hate his mother or feel unloved by her that he would think this would be something to brag about? Even if it were true. One guy figured it out to one woman a day for twenty-two years. Yeah, right. The analyst from the London Stock Exchange ridicules Ayre's claim to being a billionaire. Who would buy Bodog? It's worthless. They are under investigation by the Feds. Do you deny that too, Mike. I'm sure no-one on this forum cares that he was involved with drug-smuggling, but he has been exposed as a liar as a result. Can you argue that many people lost money as a result of Ayre's stock history? I think not. I don't know what your relationship is with Calvin, I assume you get a paycheque from him, but how can you deny that the man is not a trust-worthy individual? And aren't you the guy who claimed a few years back that Ayre threatened to sue you if you ever mentioned his stock market history? We all know about Ayre's penchant for buying people off. And you have got the nerve to try and portray me as the problem? People are being ripped off left, right and center, Ayre has a proven, well publicized history of ripping people off, and you think he's a great guy. You really should be ashamed of yourself, Mike. Who's JC?

    Bodog's laggard payments

Yeah, what a joke. I had a payout for $750 approved on April 6 from Bodog, and I've still not received the check by mail. Every time I call up to see how long it'll take, I get a diff't answer. First, I was told it would take 10 business days. Then 10-15 business days. Then 15-20 business days, and then "probably by May 1," which, I should point out, is tomorrow. Still no payout. When I pressed, I was told that April 6 and April 9 did not count as business days (because of the Easter holiday) and that I should consider April 10 the first business day. Which means that April 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 30 having already passed, we're already up to 15 business days, nearly a month after the payout was approved. I also have $4200 in a payout approved on April 13 that I'm waiting on, but I'm not optimistic, to say the least. Today, April 30, I tried contacting the customer service no. for Bodog, and it's been busy for nearly 2 hrs. To make matters worse, I noticed that their rating was downgraded from A+ to A recently. Avoid this book like the plague!!!!!!!

If Bodog goes down, Calvin would make a good televangelist. He's already go the pench

Excerpt from article on Calvin in Totonto Magazine "We use branded content to sell brand values and steer traffic back to our online properties," Ayre explains, sitting forward and permitting some enthusiasm on this point. "Everything I do is aimed at creating an army of secondary brand ambassadors. Like the MMA event we just did. We have 250 people there. And we treat them all on a level that they find very seductive. And then we constantly hit them with our message. And they all go back to their countries and their little mixed martial arts fight gyms, and the production people all go back to production companies all over Canada and the United States. And they're all selling Bodog and spreading the gospel." But who's buying? Calvin has a well-known penchant for cheap whores, which is a prerequisite for the televangelist racket. Oh, I almost forgot, running off with the flocks money. The man's good, he could make it in this new career. Jimmy Swaggert and Jim Baker, move over.

    New poster here.

I'm happy to hear that some checks are finally getting through. I requested (and had approved) a payout of $1150 on April 3. I haven't received my check yet but hopefully in the next couple days.

I will post again when I receive the check. And, fro now on, I will be using ** only.

I have a payout from bodog processsed April 12. Have not received a check. It seems that ** is the better method so I got a payout yesterday through **. My question is I got two cashouts from Full Tilt a couple months ago and I got checks within one week of the requests. Are other sites having similiar payout problems or is it just bodog? Also, for my second payout from bodog (**) I was not asked to fax the verification info (credit card, id, etc.) like I had to for the first payout. Is the verification fax a one time thing or do I need to do it every time?

    Anyways pray for my money!

I had a check by courier payout approved on 4/10/07 and still haven't received my check. Hoping it comes within the next week. As posted earlier, had two ** payouts from Bodog same day/next day - easy and effective... only potential issue, is both the ** providers took down my state license info... so it must be standard procedure. I'll post when I receive my check.

    Hey Abacus,

For your ** payouts did u receive the transfer info from bodog the same/next day or just the approval and processing email. I requested a payout a couple days ago and all I got was an email saying the payout was approved but no info to pick up my payout.

TLA, when you receive the pickup information it will appear as a "message" in your account when you log in to the Bodog site. I did not receive an e-mail with the pickup info, just an account message. Hope that helps.

    Drunken,

Thanks for the reply. I checked my account messages and all they sent was the following message:

    Your Bodog.com Payout Request

    RE: Payout Reference Number xxxxxxx

Thank you for your recent payout request dated Mon, Apr 30, 2007 for the amount of xxxxxx

Your payout has been processed for the approved amount of xxxxxxx. Please note that it may take an average of 10 business days before you receive your payment.

    Sincerely,
    Bodog.com Payouts Team

Will they send another message with the payout info? Also, there was no mention of the payout being a ** money transfer in the above message.

    Thanks

TLA - I received an email like yours, then I received another email with all the ** information - it's entirely different stuff. I always received the ** sender info within 12-24 hours of requesting the ** payout. I'm inclined to believe you may be receiving a check, not **. I hope I'm wrong, 'cause you'll have to wait a month if so.

    Reg:** Payouts

BEWARE of W.U. payouts..... EACH state has different rules in regards to the amounts of money that a person is allowed to obtain in a monthly time frame... I live here in AZ and per state law, at least what I am being told by W.U. and the clerks at the stores, are telling me that I am only able to obtain no more than $450.00 a week!!! WHAT A CROCK OF SHIT THAT IS!!! Thats why I had no choice but to request a check to be sent to me.....

I am not worried and trust Bodog to come through on the payouts!!! Will post when they arrive....

PokerStars has a twenty-five per-cent share of the US market. Bodog has two per-cent. I have not seen a single slow pay complaint about PokerStars! They must be at the same disadvantage when it comes to payment processors. And we have reports of Bodog hiring Filipinos to send out ** payments. I just can't see Bodog hanging on much longer. Here's the excerpt from Report on Business Magazine about Bodog's market share. "Bodog is only one of dozens of such sites competing for a piece of a global industry with estimated revenue—total wagers less winnings paid back to players—of $12 billion in 2005, the most recent year for which reliable figures are available. Ayre's company doesn't command much market share: Its wager volume ($7.3 billion) generated $210 million in revenue in 2005, for a share of under 2%. That's about the same percentage it now holds in the hugely popular poker market, where an industry leader such as PokerStars has an estimated share of about 25%".

Bodog has bragged "how clean and easy it is to get money to them", but if the post by TripleCheck is any indication, they'd rather give a guy the runaround than a payout.

    checks slow for me too

requested on april 8 still waiting 4-5 weeks seems to be average for people who have reported getting a check so I got my fingers crossed. My beef with bodog is they tell u about the processor delays only when u email them. They should have been upfront about the delays and emailed all players with pending payouts.

    good luck everyone,

Yeah, and where do you get off, TripleCheck? If there's any larcency to be committed, that's Bodog's area of expertise. I see on another thread they now have an *************** payment option. I thought they were "leading edge", WTF took so long? And how long will it last?

I requested a payout of 9K on April 1st and got a check in the mail today (5/4). Unfortunately, the check I received was only for 1500. I am trying to find out from Bodog what is going on. Anyone else experience something like this?

I emailed the other day. They say I cant change to **. So damn even if I get my check it might not be for the whole amount. I'm not putting one red cent more into bodog for the moment till I get the full payout. One of my live poker friends was asking me about good poker sites I recced bdog told him they've never been late on a payout to me. I just managed to tell him about this trouble before he deposited. Still hopeful though......good luck all....
