Oh. and I have heard of a few people getting some checks here and on Covers.com.. At least the customer service people that answer the phones speak english and are friendly... I just want my $$$, not excuses... hope the situation improves as I LOVE their blackjack on their site... I think it is very fair... also the MLB lines are not bad either...

Every time I call customer service they basically just tell me to wait longer!?!? Now today I got this big story their processors are doing the best they can and a bunch of other crap.

This is just bad business. On top of the runaround they can't even tell me if the check has been mailed yet. The manager said it was not possible to get that information. That is a big question for me. If they mailed the check 2 weeks ago then there was a problem with the mail. In that case I am waiting for something that is never going to come, and the real course of action is to cut a new check.

    now I am just rambling...

Anyway I am just a little frustrated at their slow payment and horrible lack of customer service. They have been good to me before this so I am going to give them the benifit of the doubt for now.

I will update this thread when my check gets here.

    Nate
I just cashed out late last night and got my money from ** today after work. I still have not gotten the check from over a month ago, but at least I was able to get some money out.

I agree with the comment above that it made me feel a bit like a crack addict to go into one of those check cashing places and get a **. Still I got my CASH the next day with no fees so how could I complain.

So for all those reading looks like ** is the way to go for now.

I will update again when I finally get my check. Until then it is ** all the way for this felon.

    Got My Check Today!!!

i repeat, i received my check in the mail today, April 26, exactly one month after my payment was processed.

i have never been so happy to receive $1k in the mail, as i too, like many of you, still have a couple thousand in my bodog account (thanks to the NBA playoffs) and thought that money was long gone.

well, i am curious to see if Bodog will give us anything for the long wait, at least some tournament cash or something.

wait......theres a problem here.....they post-dated the check, i cant cash it until July of 2009........just kidding!

    peace outside

Tommy, please, please, PLEASE use some discretion and delete the check processor's name from your post. There are a bunch of us who would also like to receive our checks and be able to cash them without having this processor get a knock on the door from Uncle Hulka.

I just am not going to lower my self to deal with ** and all the crap to make a withdrawl... have too much money in Bodog and would for sure be flagged for making too many ** transactions...

Thanks Tommy. MUCH appreciated by all who await their checks.

Mesa, could I trouble you to delete the processor's state from your post #111? Maybe that's a little paranoid of me, but I think paranoia might actually be healthy these days.

We have been speaking with Bodog today. As posters mentioned, ** is going pretty smoothly. Players are reporting receiving checks daily but Bodog says the average wait time is around 4 weeks.

I will be giving a list to Mgt. of players who reported waiting near 4 weeks or more and they will be moved to the front of the line if they are not already there. I am told they will also have the opportunity to switch to ** as well.

    Hello all

I just got home from work and there was my check from Bodog!!!

This upcoming Saturday it would have been 5 weeks, so you can do the math. I got my check and I am super jazzed.

Yesterday I got ** cash, today I got a check... I am rolling in the bodog money.

I hope this helps the spirits of others waiting for their checks.

Are you serious? Sounds very "Mickey Mouse". Judging from the last few posts, I think it is safe to say that Calvin "Porky" Ayre is back to having employees posting Bodog bullshit concerning payouts. Despicable. Is anyone actually fooled by this tactic?

Granted, I'm not fond of the guy.But there will be thousands of others having a bad experience with him as well when he buggers off with their money. Or gets busted. Can anyone really argue that he will not be? We all know what happened to the BOS money. It hasn't been seen since. The warning signs are all there that Bodog will soon cease doing business, voluntarily or otherwise. But I'm glad you've still got a job.

    Bodog is a mess.

I got one from them from the bank in Georgia that actually bounced. Bodog sent me an e-mail about three days after I deposited it telling me it was going to bounce (they didn't word it that way) and not to deposit it.

Of course I already had, was hit with a fee by the bank for the bad check. They did send a replacement check as promised and it did clear.

So then I go back into Bodog to get the rest of my money out and they no longer have ANY withdrawl options showing on the web site when you click on cashier.

Not sure what the heck is going on, they seem to be willing to pay....but who knows by what method or when.

    E-Gold taken down by Feds

I see Minnow, Russ and the gang over at Major Wager are crying in their beers because of this E-Gold processor being shut down. I guess the fact it was the number one payment system for all the vermin that like to buy CHILD PORN was secondary to the fact that it was no longer an option for unsuspecting bettors to funnel money to the likes of the criminal sociopath CALVIN AYRE. Who almost directly puts bread on the table for the likes of the owner of MW, Russ Hawkins. Oh, Minnow, the big ,bad US govt. Nothing in our society is more important than the rights of individuals to send there money down that deep, dark hole into the pockets of everybody's favorite con-man, drug-dealer and All Antiguan scumbag, that old son of a pig farmer himself, CALVIN AYRE. Oh, Minnow. If there wasn't online gambling for Ayre to prey upon people with, it's almost a given he would be into child porn. That's how his type operate. Oh, and for all those geniuses who will rush to ol' Cal's defence and say moronic stuff like," OK, we know you think he's a douche-bag, we get it", you are spot on. That is why I write all these disparaging comments, and that's why they call this a FORUM. Sadly for you, though, DRUNKEN GOOF, or whatever you call yourself, I'm not the only person saying bad things about Ayre. The most recent damning article on Mr. Bodog comes from the Globe and Mail. Here's the story. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/robmagazine/ You should take off your rose-colored glasses and read it. As should everyone who ever bets with Bodog. The Feds are systematically taking down these fraudsters and grifters who like to masquerade as marketing geniuses, and Bodog's time is coming soon. Don't take my word for it, take the word of the most influential business magazine in Canada, Report on Business. No, I don't like Ayre. But all the major media in Canada say the same things I'm saying, that he is a criminal, a fraudster and an all-around prick who views all other people as potential victims. It's in the article. And he also admits that his daddy always told to stop wrestling with pigs! WTF?

    Got my check yesterday

Hi everyone. I've been tracking this thread for awhile and wanted to let everyone know that I got my check from Bodog yesterday. My withdrawal was approved on March 25th, so it took just over a month to get here. Based on some of the previous posts should I be concerned about the check bouncing? Has anyone had any problems with this latest batch of checks?

**, thanks, but I would hope that was obvious to everyone already. Hell, I don't like Calvin and I do think he's on the douchy side, but that don't stop me from trying to continue to take money from him. The day he doesn't pay anymore I've got no-one try cry to, but until then.....

    DL,

The payment situation is an industry-wide issue. In a nutshell it breaks down like this

At the present time there are a very small number of companies with solutions offered to the gaming industry
after so many left the sector when Neteller left. This means there is limited volume and the industry has to share it and the payout methods are not as good as the ones before so mistakes are made.

It is seldom the gaming company that makes the mistakes, the all know how to do a payout.

It shows up more with bigger companies because
they have the bigger volume. It is also often compounded by the few payouts companies over promising on the volume they can push through. Anyway, for the near term this is going to be an ongoing problem but the healthy companies are still healthy....this is not caused by a shortage of money with the bigger companies.

If the Neteller case gets dropped as some suspect, this would improve things immediately.

Hope this helps some of you gents. Paddy, leave Calvin alone.

    **,

No doubt Shuswapper has a personal beef with Calvin Ayre. WOuld you mind pointing out which posts are slanderous, assuming the truth is a defense.

Since you seem to be close to Bodog, is there anything in the latest Globe and Mail article that is not true?

    Thanks,

    JC

Let me add that I agree with you to some extent about larger operations having a harder time adjusting than smaller ones. It's like trying to turn an aircraft carrier versus a pleasure boat.
