    I think the computer software is good enough at most books to not allow arbitrage situations in the scenarios you describe. Otherwise, everyone would be on it. The only time I've seen arbitrage is when the lines rapidly move and you got in on it early. Sometimes the differences between the starting line and ending line can represent arbitrage opportunities

    I'll test this right now at Bovada

    3 team parlay:
    Knicks (-250) $10 wins $4
    Pistons (-275) $10 wins $3.64
    Blazers (-220) $10 wins $4.55

    Dog ML
    Celtics (210) $10 wins $21
    Magic (235) $10 wins 23.5
    Grizzlies (180)$10 wins 18

    Bet $10 ML Favorite parlay to win is 17.77

    Betting dog spread yields (assuming 1.10 vig)
    $10 to win 9.09

    Say the Knicks/Pistons/Blazers all win in routs (all covering the spread)

    You hit your parlay winning $17.77
    You also win your 3 individual ML games totaling 12.19.
    Total winnings = 29.96.

    But you lose all 3 dog spreads (-30) and all 3 dog ML (-30). Total losses -60.

    Even if you decide to take out the 3 dog ML, you still come out losing.

    There's no arbitrage in gambling spreads.
