    Las Vegas Options

Hitting Vegas for Super Bowl week. I'm a square who thinks he's got more rounded edges, and I usually spend most sportsbook time at LVH (then watch the big game at a party somewhere), and I imagine I'll be there a bunch.

Before I go, though, I figured I'd ask...is there a better option if I want the broadest college basketball choices? I follow the smaller leagues pretty closely, and on previous trips LVH has posted sides/totals/ML on these conferences. Do they still? Does anyone else? (Cantor, in particular?) The LVH sportsbook can wear on you after a few days.

Also have been betting more soccer and golf -- any good sports books for those in the desert? I don't expect it to be like online (or to be able to bet a Saturday EPL game at 4:30 a.m. local time), but I'll take any advice. Thanks, and good luck.

Always remember Vegas is not offshore
They do not have the betting options online companies have

Best option is Hilton for what you ant

things are getting tighter for us Vegas bettors ... M for locals, LVH on the strip.

almost time to move unless there is a new huge resort that opens up competition

    +5000 on that though

Like has already been said, based on my experience LVH or M are the best sportsbooks for lines.

Prefer the M 1000x more than LVH. Decent setup.

Regarding golf....most sportsbooks will have "win" odds and the bigger books will have 10 or 20 match-ups for PGA tour events.

The LVH has a full page of props for the 4 Majors, such Tiger over/unders for each round and finishing positions for the big names. Cantor will have about half of what the LVH offers, and you can find interesting props at William Hill as well.

    +1

The parking at the Hilton near the book is terrible - like a 30-year old strip mall in Boulder City.

M is just cleaner in general, and closer to where I am.

I hate Cantor too, but what are my options locally? I don't want to keep driving down to the LVH everyday.

Soccer or golf go to LVH. They have most of the major leagues. EPL, Bundesliga, La Liga, and major competitions (Capital One cup, FA cup) Southpoint also offers some soccer and the book is open 24 HRS which is nice when trying to cash a ticket. LVH will cash ticjets 24 hrs but not on larger bets.

LVH has 90% payout and only offers 1x2. They don't want soccer action.

They only offer it so that the donks who bet the same top 10 teams every week will donate to their book.

South Point is open 23 hours, not 24 hours

Stations is best for the EPL, bet only $500 limits, South Point is also good for the EPL, and they offer totals, Stations does not........they will take at least 1k on the side. South Point operates the Cannery and Rampart books as well.

Coasts is another option for soccer, they have many venues in the city from the Orleans, to SamsTown, to the Fremont downtown, to the Suncoast and others.

Many places in town do not book soccer or use 3-way lines only.

If one routinely wagers less than $1000 a game, STATIONS best books in the city when everything is considered.............RedRock, Green Valley, and Sunset are three nice venues.

Having said that, Stations does take larger than 1k limits on the major sports..............NFL regular season was 10k/3k for sides/totals.

    MR Fishhead.

I am thinking about placing a nephew in Vegas during the Soccer World Cup to place bets for me. Where should I book him into so that he can get around the sportsbooks on foot. What is the age limit for placing bets at las vegas sportsbooks?

    Thanks for your info!!!!

I bet between $1000 and $5000 a gameand am pretty faithful to Orleans but they hit me with some limits on my last visit. Do you have any recomendations for me? Is Orleans regarded as a good spot to play at? I just like them because its off the strip and the rooms are always free and in general the clerks at the sportsbook are very friendly.

Dont know how you can get limited on a vacation at a book

You would never never catch me at the hilton

Its basically downtown Vegas in a sense...of course real big book but no class

Guys throwing garbage cans all over place when they lose a bet, screaming and yelling, mini scuffles daily between locals and hookers running their business their

    no way

I was at Rio in early November and thought it was a fine enough sportsbook for what I was looking for. They had every college game being played on the board. Great parlay cards. Its a little off the strip, but not much riff-raff in there. I was actually disappointed. I was wanting to see some hookers but never really saw any hanging out there. Saw a few coming on calls (or girls i suspect were), but other than that it was kinda boring.
