The fact that Seattle worked the hell out of Harvin when he's been out all year tells you how confident they are in the other guys not named Lynch. I think SF ML is the play of the weekend.

Wasn't the public like 78% on the 49ers vs. Panthers? I don't recall specifically, but I know the public crushed that one. All the favorites won last weekend.

As for this week, turnovers is key in Seattle. Win or lose I hope it's an epic game.

I like SF to win outright for the following reasons:

    1. San Fran has zero weaknesses, I challenge anyone to find a spot where any opponent has a distinct advantage over the 49ers.
    2. San Fran is the best team in the NFL RIGHT NOW.
    3. San Fran has been the most consistant team in the NFL all year.
    4. San Fran is the TOUGHEST team in the NFL, bar none.

I have no slight against Seattle either, they are top notch. The home field advantage means a FG for most teams, it probably means a TD for the Hawks. However, as much as I love Lynch and Wilson, this is all they have offensively, and it's has been exposed dramatically by other teams over the last month or two. The Oline is questionable and the playmakers are simply non existant in the passing game. They simply struggle to score vrs. top defensive teams. Seattle will NOT score over 17 pts in this game, and I expect them to have a tough time scoring 10+. As good as that defense is, you still have to score to win and they won't score enough imo. The only way Seattle wins if if their defense dominates and holds SF to single digits, and as good as they are, and as much as the crowd will play into it, its hard to hold ANY team to single digits, let alone an offense as good as SF's. Harbaugh/Roman will find a way to put the offensive playmakers in a few positions to exploit SEA in the intermediate and deep passing game. SF wont light it up by any means but they will find the endzone twice, and pull out a 17-10 win... I look for SEA to shutdown SF the majority of the game, look for a long pass to Vernon Davis and a long run by Kaep as the key plays in the game that lead to TDs. Pound SF ML and the under... thank me later

Niners on a mission. 7-0 last seven. Niners big 3 all healthy. Hawks have no QB. Yes Wilson is overrated.
    Niners 24-14

IMO the Panthers and sCam had a fluke year, and will revert back to the mean for next season. Heck, they looked to have done so in their last game. All teams had to do was pass protect their QB and contain Cam, and they could have named their score. That Carolina secondary was ripe for the picking, but few took advantage. I really hope the books value them based on their record from this season, as there's going to be opportunities to make some money here.
Don't forget the 49ers beat Seattle at home, then beat the Cardinals, Packers, and Panther all on the road (8 consecutive wins in total). So there's more context to it than simply, they beat the Packer, then beat the Panthers.

Just wondering, but do you see anything impressive with the Seahawks last few wins against the Saints, Giants, and Rams (with losses to the 49ers and Cardinals mixed in there)?

this game is a tough one for me, On one hand I am a 49er fan. On the other hand if the seahags advance I will play against them for a
    max bet in the superbowl.
Outside of seattle they are a mediocre team, with a horrible coach.

    1. Been saying this in other threads too, but I believe Kaep's decision-making is questionable at times and he really needs to be more accurate passing the ball. While he's definitely dynamic enough with his legs to overcome some of his deficiencies as a passer, I don't think he can rely on his legs forever. Kaep going up against this Seattle secondary is a big advantage for Seattle in my opinion.

Also, even though the Hawks have been one-dimensional on offense with their dependence on Lynch and the running game, the Niners haven't exactly shut him down in previous matchups...

    2. Can't argue there.

    3. Same as #3

    4. I'd say SF and Seattle are #1a and #1b in the toughness rankings, so I wouldn't say it's "bar none".

The game winning FG was half an inch away from being blocked and who knows what we are talking about now.

    Here's why 9ers win
Wilson 9-18, 103 yds, 0 tds against the crappy NO defense what do you think 9er D will do?
Lynch will NOT run wild on them either and Cards just beat Seattle at home.

    Niners roll in this one!!!!

Books are probably struggling with this line, given the Niners have lost the last two games in Seattle by what, 55 points combined? Hard to say what a fair number would be here.

I'm a huge Peyton homer so I'd like to see Seattle pull it out here cause I don't think Denver could beat SF with all their injuries on D. I don't think NE could beat either one cause their D injuries are at DT....hell Knowshon Moreno went for 220 or whatever on them earlier. They're not explosive enough on offense either. I'm playing SF ML and prob SF to win the SB. Denver couldn't stop Matthews (hurt in the 3rd game) in the first 2 SD games and they've lost Vickerson since then and Matthews is nothing compared to how physical SF/Sea are + running QBs. Vernon Davis would go for 150 on Denver as well.
