Namath. Montana. Brady. The jerk that played for the bears.. what's his name.. and definitely Randall Cunningham, if your qb can run the ball, you are set.

'Graham is regarded by critics as one of the most dominant players of his era, having taken the Browns to league championship games every year between 1946 and 1955, winning seven of them. With Graham at quarterback, the Browns posted a record of 114 wins, 20 losses and four ties, including a 9–3 win–loss record in the playoffs. While most of Graham's statistical records have been surpassed in the modern era, he still holds the NFL record for career average yards gained per pass attempt, with nine. He also holds the record for the highest career winning percentage for an NFL starting quarterback, at 0.814. Long-time New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner, a friend of Graham's, once called him "as great of a quarterback as there ever was."['

Elway, Montana, Brady, Graham is the mount rushmore. Peyton gets another ring and its a mount rushmore with 5 heads.

    2nd tier:

    Favre
    Young
    Marino
    Bradshaw
    Baugh
    Unitas

I've always shitted on Marino and I won't stop now.

My favorite quarterback currently in the league is Eli Manning.

Top 3 in the last 3 decades (as well as ever) (not necessarily in order)

    Montana
    Brady
    Young

QB's I considered for last 2 spots (last 3 decades), but couldn't decide...

    Rodgers
    Manning
    Marino
    Aikman
    Elway

Can't wait till I'm reminding fools Manning went to get stem cell surgery done in Europe when he left the Colts (which was illegal in America at the time) and nobody believing me or caring.

Brett favre was better than john elway. More complete seasons, more career touchdowns, more numbers across the board.

you elway backers are interesting. he got annihilated in every super bowl before terrell Davis came along. he was a choker getting blown out multiple times. Brady Montana and Favre always kept their teams in the fight. no excuse for getting beat like 55_17 or whatever the niners beat them by and not being able to get your team a first down watching Doug Williams annihilate your team in one quarter. and i believe there was a sb loss to the giants thrown in there somewhere too.

Elway a choker because his team lost as a 9 or 13 point underdog against some of the greatest teams in NFL history?

Giants were 9 point favorites over Denver in the Super Bowl. You've gotta be kidding if you think the 1986 Giants weren't one of the greatest teams ever. They only lost 2 games all year, a week 1 fluke loss @ Landry's Cowboys 31-28 and a week 7 loss @ Seattle 17-12. They went 3-0 against Gibbs' Redskins including a playoff shutout and 2-0 against Montana's 49er's including 49-3 stomping in the playoffs. The Giants only allowed more than 20 points twice all season including the playoffs.

    Brady
    Elway

This is an equally silly question. At this point in the playoffs, it takes a complete team to win.

I may not do justice to the old timers as I didn't have the pleasure of watching back in the day so here goes in no particular order:

    1. P. Manning
    2. Brady - I hate the guy but he probably deserves to be in this list
    3. Steve Young
    4. Kurt Warner - Absolutely love this guy and it's hard for anybody to hate on him. In playoffs he was amazing and if he had a longer career I think he would've been on a lot more lists. For the little time he had as starter he made the most of it.
    5. Unitas - I only wonder what he could've done with today's standards/strategies/dietitians.

Steve Young is the most overrated QB ever. Easy to get fantasy stats throwing to future HOF WRs. Deion won his ring.

How could the Giants 86 be one of the greatest teams ever...they won one title and didnt have a dynasty. How many hall of famers were on offense 1986 for Giants...the bears of 1985 had better defenders and a better defensive scheme...and a top 3 rb of all time Payton
