Thank you. I've been saying the same thing yet people always make Westbrook out to be the scapegoat.

Westbrook is single handily keeping OKC in the game while Durant struggles.

KD should just give the MVP to LBJ. He shows up when his team needs him.

That was one of the most controversial games I've ever seen in any era of basketball

Crazy, crazy set of events that took place

First, CP3 un characteristically not taking the foul but trying to get cute and ends up getting ripped by RW.

Second, after the ball is ping ponged around a bit, RJ ends up with the ball and drives to the hoop. This is where fate must have intervened. The correct bball play would have been to dump it off to a WIDE OPEN KD for the dunk, which would have tied the game. But RJ makes the wrong decision, gets fouled although no foul is called and then we all know about the call the refs made.

Third, Westbrook gets the ball with 7.0 secs left and jacks up a terrible, contested 28ft 3pt'r AND CP3 bailed him out. It was a clear foul. At the time, I didn't think so but now that still frames are out he clearly hit his elbow and didn't give him room to land. Again, uncharacteristic for such a smart player like CP3.

Fourth, RW hits all 3 pressure FT's. Not an easy thing to do. Even the best miss 1 out of 3 in that situation quite regularly. Now, don't forget, the only reasons he shooting 3 FT's is 1.) the refs didn't call the foul on RW and 2.) RW made the incorrect bball play by not passing to Durant and 3.) the refs apparently botched an instant replay review.

Just a crazy, unlikely set of events that should never, never have taken place. But they did. And somehow it all favored OKC.

Who would've thought that down 2 with only a few secs left that a missed foul call that would have sent a great FT shooter to the line to tie the game, would actually be one of the main reasons OKc won.

And FWIW, had either the foul been called on RJ or had he passed to Durant for the dunk, I think the game goes to OT and the Clippers win. I

Durant hit the shots to get them back in the game, Westbrook put them in a hole and got bailed out with a silly foul

And the only reason KD had the chance to make those shots that got OKC back in the game is because Westbrook carried the entire team up to that point, he had 35 points at the time. And then it was Westbrook that hit all 3 pressure FT's.

Quit trolling, JJ. I'll beat you with logic, son

Thats the thing with him which makes one hesitant to bet OKC, as much as he did to get them to that point he was fine with throwing it all away in a blink of an eye on a stupid shot. Seems the guy lets adrenaline override smart mental play every single time. That type mentality Ive seen in football quite a few times where a team comes back from a large deficit and can tie the game with an extra point but goes for two, dont make it and loses the game.
