For the sake of Browns fans everywhere, I hope I'm wrong, but I think this is what it will come down to.
If you had to pick the lesser of the two evils, which one would you choose?
I'd side with Stoops only because he hasn't proven that he CAN'T coach in the NFL. McDaniels on the other hand is the perfect example of guys having GREAT football knowledge but the inability to organize and run a team. McDaniels is a brilliant football mind when it comes to running an offense. When it comes to running a team I don't think he can cut it. Not sure Stoops can either, but that remains to be seen.
Have to wonder if the Browns brass have their man already chosen and agreed-upon. They never wanted Chudzinski. But at the same time I don't think they would have gotten rid of him after one year unless something was lined up. What a screwed up organization.
