    If Ohio State can generate enough pressure on Boyd in the pocket to compensate for a soft secondary that will be missing Bradley Roby, then I can see the Buckeyes winning solidly. But realistically, both of these teams are capable of putting up 40 points. The biggest edge is Urban vs Dabo, where the Buckeyes have a huge advantage.

    Roby will not be missed. He has had a miserable year. Urban needs to keep his nose out of the play calling. He cost us a shot at national championship. Both times we needed a yard on 4th down he changed the play to Braxton running the ball. Hyde has not been thrown for a loss all year. Our DC sucks to high heaven. This will be two teams that have no clue on defense. Not sure if Braxton will try in this game seemed to look like he was playing not to get hurt in the MSU game. Miller is not a tough kid. He doesn't run hard any longer or he wanted noting to do with MSU's hard hitting defense. OSU coaching staff is not looking anything like I thought it would. The decision making on both sides of the ball are less then acceptable. Betting with my heart on this one. Logic in my gambling this year has gave me nothing, so heart bet this one and if I lose I am done for the year. Go Nutz ! GL

    This is the worst buckeyes defense they have had in atleast 10 years.

    if they had any defense whatsoever they would be in the championship.

    But that being said Clemson is worse.

    Clemson a defense is not worse then Ohio states as a homer I'm staying away from this game period but to say clemson a defense is worse is outrageous. Last year yes this statement is true but it's actually been the offense when we play better teams that pressure boyd that cause turnovers and put our defense in terrible spots. Ohio state pressures boyd they win. Clemson stops miller from scrambling we win.

    Loved Clemson every since I saw the matchup. They are a dam good team. They no-showed at Florida St but otherwise they rolled. Plus, Clemson's defense is not that bad. I think their speed gives OSU problems.

    Correct on all accounts. Florida State has pro players on D and at WR. Watkins and Boyd are VERY good. Clemson D is meh but does have a few big talents

    Bradley Roby is a HUGE loss, Noah Spence is too but we do have a lot of depth at D line so it won't be as big of an issue. Now we have to shift Doran Grant against Watkins, who is actually pretty solid but has issues with getting his head turned around so look for some PI tonight. The bigger problem now comes at cornerback #2 where Armani Reeves is atrocious, and has struggled vs many mediocre guys.

    Boyd also had a gambling debt he had to settle that game.

    Boyd played like shit vs FSU and it was obvious he threw the game.

    We'll see if he ran up another debt that he needs to settle in this game.

    With that defense? Not a chance. Boyd and Watkins are a terrible matchup for the OSU secondary. A couple of big plays out of the gate and they get a lead early, OSU will not be allowed to fall back on their run game, which is no doubt their strength.

    Agreed, Roby being out isn’t that big of a deal given how his season has gone but Noah Spence sitting out is going to hurt the D-line and their ability to pressure Watkins in the pocket.

    Ohio State’s defense is no where near that of South Carolina or Florida State…the only two teams to slow down the Clemson offense. If this game is a shootout like many expect, the Clemson passing game definitely has a significant edge.
