In the 43 year history of the Cowboys-- they had never given up more than 600 yards in a game.

This year under Kiffin they did it twice.

They also gave up more yards in team history.

And 4 teams set NFL records against them this year---including the Saints getting 40 fuking first downs in a single game.

the boys never should have gotten rid of Rob Ryan - he is a very good DC, look at what he did in NO this year. That was a terrible defense that he has turned into a formidable one. But Jerry needed a head to roll last year and you know Rob isn't a "yes man". He got the can. Damn shame.

Jerry needs to do two things, fire himself from GM, hire a good GM, get a good DC, and figure out what the hell the trainers have been doing the last two years because the team has been injury plagued bad - esp on the defensive side of the ball

Kiffin wasn't getting any younger, should have never been hired. Maybe hard to get good coaches in Dallas now days.

Well, it takes more than 1 year to convert a 3-4 to a 4-3. Players work better in one system versus the other.

Even if he pulled that off, he'd have find a way to ruin it. Besides, Peyton is probably too smart to mess with him.

Need to get rid of Callahan and get someone to take over the OC position completely. No battle between him and Garrett. Garrett needs to sit on the sidelines, kiss Jerry's ass, maybe call some timeouts and cheer.

Can a team really go anywhere with a HC that's stuck being a middle manager and babysitter for a spoiled brat owner?

When I think of great HC's, I think of leaders of men like Lombardi. Guys with passion, fire and control of the team. What kind of control does a HC have if the owner is always standing behind him, breathing down his neck and sticking fingers where they don't belong? I hate to be so pessimistic, but Dallas is going to sit and spin eternally at 8-8 until Jerry Jones is gone. Sorry Cowboys fans.

Norv is solid as a OC. Maybe bring Wannstedt in as DC, reuniting the old Super Bowl coaching staff.

Browns-Cowboys battle for worst run orginization. Brown's still lead, but Dallas is closing the gap between shifty contracts and terrible hires.

You forgot "The Dan" in Washington.

Took a storied franchise and turned them into the laughing stock of the league with all his "fantasy" signings.

Vikings aren't that bad, just went through a bad HC. Before that, they were a play away from SB. Just need a QB.

Read some stories about the Wilfs in Minnesota and you'll see how high up the list the Vikes should be. They are way more than a QB away from being a good team. Frazier was the least deserving of any coach that got canned IMO. He did wonders if keeping the Vikings fairly competitive with music chairs at QB and a bunch of other injuries and just bad personnel.

I'm not sure which Wilf stories you are talking about. If you are talking about the locals, they are a bunch of crybabies and always have been, they cried every year Denny Green took them to the playoffs, nothing makes them happy. If there was a mistake, it was hiring Frazier in the first place, Frazier wasn't ready to be a head coach and was thrust into it. I guess time will tell as the off season goes forward with the new HC and how the team evolves. Maybe it's just the city itself that taints the team with local sarcasm.
