George Blaha announcer for the Pistons said James Harden is ready to play because Beverley broke his hand in the 2nd Qtr. (No one knew Beverley broke his hand during intermission.) While he's saying this the camera zooms in on Harden having a trainer stretch him out on the floor while teams are loosening up just before 2nd half. I don't know what McHale did on the rotation during the 3rd Qtr? Maybe he felt like he could handle the Pistons with the game plan he was going with? Rockets were short handed for guards. No Lin. No Beverley. No Harden. But Harden was asked to get ready for the 2nd half. Apparently? According to George Blaha.

But fuk it anyways. Houston could of played 4 on 5 and beat Detroit.

Has anyone ever heard of a player ruled out for a game... but decided to play him later on during the game? Wouldn't vegas be pissed off for a team doing that? Always wondered that?

As long as a player is active, there's always a chance he can play if the circumstances call for it.

This was a unique situation because Lin was hurt and Beverley got hurt. The Rockets didn't really have a PG (or SG for that matter) other than Brooks. But Howard and Parsons ripped that Swiss-cheese defense to shreds in the second half, so it didn't matter. Drummond can't just allow Dwight Howard to make him his BEE-YAH BEE-YAH like that. He needs to get some Gold Bond powder and man up after that performance tonight.
