    How can you back USC today?

    There is no way a USC team can be happy about playing in the 2nd bowl game of the season on Dec 21. The team has an interim coach and not their beloved coach who they played hard for at the end of the season. Also, it's hard not to forget last years Bowl when USC didn't show up to a mediocre bowl game.

    Also I'm sure "little" Fresno State would love to show that they can play with the big boys. Especially the instate big boys.

    IMO Fresno will want this game more and +6 and ML have to be played.

    I just have no idea how the hell Fresno defense is going to stop USC offense at all. even if USC is interested or not. they could sleepwalk and score on this defense that is how bad they are. scary game.

    Maybe, but what about NFL scouts watching the game, or for a spot on the starting roster when Sarkesian comes in. Personally, USC is more talented at all positions, with exception of QB. Better SOS, better athletes. The only hit is the motivation. I question back, if perceived motivation, then what about Fresno missing out on a possible BCS bowl? It is possible, but going to lay lunch money on USC. They are the more talented team.

    I want Fresno boys but they have never played a team like this. Regardless of their problems it's still USC and that scares me. Fresno could not put San Jose away. If backing Fresno only play I see iscteasingvthem up to 12 points and that still scares me. Gl today boys baby needs new shoes

    If you think USC is upset about being in this game, what about Fresno State, who blew a sure shot at a BCS Bowl game with that inexcusable loss to San Jose State, a team who is playing in the, er, ah, I guess they are NOT playing in a bowl game. Scoring 52 points and getting blown out by a 6-6 team is really poor.

    Fresno St can't play defense. USC will show up after being embarrassed last year in the Bowl game against a losing record GT squad. USC defense is for real.

    Kiffin had a lot to do with that. You saw how they played for Ergeron and he didn't do crap when he was at Ole Miss. USC has a lot of talent on that team especially on the defensive side of the ball. Fresno plays zero defense at all.
