Are the Seahawks going to let the Rams break their Home undefeated streak?

They won't have anything to play for in Week 17.

Last home loss was to good ole Alex Smith I believe.

Are they going to lay down and lose some mystique or pound the Rams?

Carrol is a run up the score kind of coach and we've seen what resting players does recently but I guess we'll know once the line comes out....

    That's just a BYE.

Plus they hold tie-breakers with the Saints.

I guess Niners can still overtake.

    k13: So you're saying there's a chance!!!

That's asking a lot, but it would be great. I'd love to see SEA have a loss at home before we go and do it in the PO's.

NFC prediction for 49ers route to SB:
    Win @ Chicago
    Win @ Carolina
    Win @ Seattle

Interesting that the two NFC Wild Card teams will probably be favored on the road in the first round

I'm a fan of a NFC West team.. obviously... but these homer threads are so pointless. The Rams were the best in the division last year.. what's there to prove this year with shitty record across the board. Isn't there something bigger to talk about here rather than a random 'upset alert'. Rams get one a year you should know this.. last year was Redskins or the 49ers (you pick) and the year before that was the Saints. There nothing left in the tank for STL.

Playoffs by default man! Best in your division doesn't always translate to best in your conference.

This seems unlikely. Depends on what you are basing the seeds on.

Yep interesting indeed. Might be road favorites in all of the 4 wildcard games. The Chiefs will be favored as well.

Panthers win sunday so nfc south division leader and wildcard alternate seeds. Saints fall to seed number six while Niners go to 5th after wins over falcons and cards.

Wildcard week could be pack if they win the next 2 weeks. But I think they'll go 1-1. Either way.

Bears probably need to win both games to win the North. If they do they would be the 3 seed and the Niners would go to Philly/Dallas. Saints as a 6 seed aren't winning at Chicago in January. That would send SF to Seattle in the divisional round. Of course a lot can change including SF slipping to 6.

KC yes. But the AFC 6th seed probably won't be favored except for possibly Baltimore (entering on 6-game win streak) at Indy.

Possible, but very unlikely for SF to face Chicago. Unless SF loses out they will get the 5 seed and face the 4 seed. Possible, but very difficult for Bears to get 4 seed. For the Bears to get the 4 seed they'd have to lose to Philly but beat GB and have Detroit lose to NYG or Minn. It also requires Philly to beat Dallas for the division. That's a tight squeeze. If Bears win division they will probably be the 3 seed. So SF probably goes to Philly or Dallas for first game.

Isn't SF the 6-seed? They lost to both Carolina and Saints.

The Rams played the Seahawks pretty tough in St. Louis, but both Hawks OTs were out. Still stranger things have happened, SF not out of it for a Bye yet, although winning in Arizona sure looks a lot tougher after today.

For the 49ers to win the division and get a bye, the Sehawks have to lose to the Rams, and the 49ers have to beat the Falcons and Cardinal, right?

This was set up, Carroll hates the niners. This gave Arizona a chance to beat SF. You know harbough was like WTF is Seattle doing..... Now Arizona will beat SF in Arizona.

Seahags lay down a week early...lol

Might still lay down again for the Rams depending on what happens...

As someone said earlier they don't want to give away their whole playbook too the Cards....

Nice job Zona, I was wrong about your even though you still suck but nice win.

A lot of people were wrong about Arizonas defense and wrong about Seattles offense too.
