    Ravens +6.5 at Detroit Looks to Good to be True

    Defending Superbowl champs are fighting for the #6 seed and need to win tomorrow night at Detroit even more to stay ahead of the Miami Dolphins. Their offense has played better of late and they have Dennis Pitta back to go along with Marlon Brown and Torey Smith. Detroit plays sloppy and can turn the ball over offensively.....Ravens defense is physical. That is not a good combination.

    I realize Detroit needs to win this game to stay ahead of Chicago to try and take the NFC North title and earn a playoff spot. I still think Baltimore comes in strong and takes it to the Lions....even if they don't beat Detroit.

    Seriously though, I'm baffled too. Teams seem pretty evenly matched. Seems like it should be painted 3, maybe shaded 3.5. 7 in some spots seems crazy.

    First off, the Lions play in a dome and also Matt Elam was talking a lot of shit to Calvin Johnson earlier this week.

    Elam called Johnson "Pretty old." and Johnson responded with ""I'm getting old. It's all good. I'll show him what that old man's strength is about, though."

    I hope my Ravens win but it could get real ugly, real quick and the best wide receiver in the NFL, Calvin Johnson, could go off in a bigger way than he usually does every week

    Ravens haven't lost by more than 6 points since Week 1 to Denver and they're hot winning 3 in a row and needing a win to keep pace with Miami. They've lost a lot of close games or they could easily be a 10-3 or 9-4 team here and it'd probably be a pk em game. I don't see laying -6.5 here but what do I know.

    At what odds? If the 2-teamer is -120 then that's -280 per side, which is pretty much the same or worse than the ML. So what's the benefit? At -110, it's -260, but you can even get that at Bookmaker.
