Only road win the Ravens have is by 3 against the Dolphins...and their offense is near last in almost every statistical category. Line seems right to me..

    Was this a parlay (4-team)?

Definitely suggest hedging this in case Balty loses...

Maybe put $50 on Detroit ML so you can break even. Just a thought, unless $20 isn't much for you. For me it is.
If Detroit loses, you still get $1960.

Yes and yes Baltimore will lose.

Still trying to decide how to hedge.

Maybe get lucky live and they get a early lead...doubtful.

you can say what you want about the ravens... im a ravens fan but not a homer cause i definitely have clarity when it comes to betting them. i rarely do. but they havent lost by more than 6 points all year since week 1. theyre in it every game. i see them with the ball with a chance to win late 4th q down 3-6 points. GL to everyone in whatever side they choose.

This is the kind of game in which you go 2 or 3 units on and take Baltimore + points. Game will come down to the wire. 3 or 4 points.

Detroit is 3-13 ats l16 after allowing 30 plus points to opponent previous game. Gonna be a hard trend to buck vs superbowl champs. In other words. Ravens will capitalize on loose detroit

    Lions -7

the public is on Baltimore. Lions are a fantastic home team and they will have the competitive juices flowing for the Monday Night Prime Time ESPN game.

Calvin Johnson will be a household name after tonight.

This game should be -3. Not sure why the Lions are such a big favorite. Only team that beat Ravens by more than 6 points was Broncos in first game.

Good point. 2 teamer @ -120 is always unplayable. The odds dropped since my post, so right now ML is better value.

Anyone who is still betting the Lions ATS at this point in the season deserves whatever they get. You can't trust this team at all. They may very well win tonight, but they're not covering 6.

I'm a ravens fan and terrified of this game.. However the bungles won in detroit, the lions also barely beat Dallas at home and lost to Tampa. I do believe that the ravens are better than all 3 of those teams. The ravens historically always play up or down to their competition. That being said if Reggie plays I think him and cj are too much to handle and I'm terrified to bet on them

With Detroits bad defense beat up, I think I got to take the points here. Already taking the over, and now contemplating Balt +6.5 (maybe 7 by the time I get to the Casino)

    EDIT: Looks like it's +5.5 now. =/

Both teams hungry. Both decent squads that probably won't go far even if they make the playoffs. Both have qb's that can look like geniuses or buffoons. This game could go either way imo. Gonna start with small ML play on the Ravens and then work the live betting. If they can get a quick early score and this game goes back and forth, i'm hoping to play each side +money and in the end have equal amounts bet on each team.

BigBear - I think you're a good poster and pretty successful. If you hadn't posted on here, I think I would have gone with Balty at +6.5 this morning, but I am now contemplating.

Can you please fill me in as to why you think Detriot will win by a touchdown or more? Thanks! I feel like I have to play this game or I'll miss out on the Baltimore cover.

B/C the home team in these MNF games tends to play at max potential. The stadium is going to have an electric atmosphere tonight and i think Lions will feed off that.

Everybody knows the Lions are one of the best offensive teams in the league and i think the crowd noise will really help the Lions defense too. Lions need to win this game bad to hold onto the division lead. My gut tells me the Lions will win big.

    Ok - nuff said.
You guaranteed a Pacers win the other night and it happened. I'll ride with ya' again on this game.
Should I take the Detroit ML - safe play?

lions 2 of the top 3 cornerbacks out for this game. Ravens should be able to throw the ball easily. The key issue is whether rice can run the ball.

Waiting to see if dumervil plays...He is huge for ravens pass rush. i am guessing the books know that he will play..since the line moved 1.5 points.

Ravens are finally getting healthy and public/books still going by past results this year.

This is the most healthiest ravens have been all year and I think they will bring their A game to detroit.

Detroit can win the division even if they lose tonight. I dont think bears will beat eagles on the road next week. And they have the tie-breaker over packers. This is not exactly a must-win game for lions as others are making it out to be.

On the other hand, this is a must win game for ravens. Miami has easy schedule next 2 games and probably win them. So, a loss tonight means the season over for ravens.

Chris Houston is doubtful, he is a starter, but they still have Rashean Mathis nailing down the other side. Darius Slay being doubtful is less of a factor, he's about equal to Bill Bentley who will replace Houston. Perhaps the Lions struggle in wide sets due to loss of depth, but do the Ravens really have enough WR depth to feature those kinds of packages? Besides CB is maybe the most overrated position in the NFL, it's really about the pressure on the QB and the Lions have some pretty good pass pressure guys to throw at Flacco. In essence, if this is your best argument to use against the Lions, you are really reaching.

Nice, how about the Over? I think Inter Conference games went 3-0 or 4-0 to the Over yesterday. Also, I think this trend is hitting at an over 75% clip this season.

Does it worry you a bit that this will be the 2nd best offense the Ravens have faced all year? The best offense they faced was obviously the Broncos in the first game of the season. Also, the Ravens Safety Matt Elam was trash talking about Calvin Johnson being old. This has all the makings of an Over 48.5 if you ask me, or am I just square?
