Having this discussion at work, and I'm the only one who believes that the issue of warm weather teams having difficulties playing in the cold is extremely overrated. (Though Manning doesn't help my argument much.)

In fact, I would say that a cold-weather team having to suddenly play in very hot, humid conditions poses a MUCH bigger challenge. But then again, this time of the year you would rarely experience such an extreme.

I've lived in north my entire life, and while I am more tolerant of the winter than family and friends who visit from the south, I've never truly gotten "comfortable" with the conditions.

I just think that the issue of blown out of proportion.

Thoughts?
