    Why watch the games?

Adopting this philosophy from now on, UNLESS I am legitimately entertained by the two teams playing. I would have watched Wisky/Virginia and possibly MSU/UNC last night but still. The last few nights I've completely cut myself off from following my plays until around midnight. I check it then and see what happened. I look at each games play by play and how it unfolded, as well as the recap. SO MUCH LESS STRESSFUL

I wish I could do that. I feel like whenever I don't have access or I fall asleep.......its a loser. Strange, but true.

    Hows your philosophy going?

3 slightly winning days so far. It is SO hard to do though. I wanna grab my phone and laptop and check every 15 minutes. I'm planning on watching ESPN for the UL/Cincy game but I'm gonna try and not glance at the scoreboard below either. I wish I could turn that off somehow

I know what you mean. I bet with the interactive world we live in, that will be an option before we know it.

would be nice for people like me. Hoping my eyes don't pick up the scores when I'm watching the game tonight

half the fun to me is the actual HANDICAPPING. Have caught a few scores so far on accident but oh well. All of them were good news

That's the other half of the fun, but not watching the games is like telling your buddy you wanna play some blackjack and to go play BJ for you and tell you what happens after.

I hear ya, probably a more successful way to do it as it curbs emotion a bit from the equation.

yeah, I can't handle it anymore. I refuse to put myself through it if I can help it. I enjoy handicapping and watching sports, but not grinding over tight games between teams I care nothing about

It's entertaining to me. I don't have stress doing it, because no one game is ever going to break my bankroll.

I learn the most about teams for later bets by actually watching them....Also it's fun and don't really stress out over most plays

if you break down the play by play and recaps like I do, I think I get a better understanding and not having to listen to the announcers brainwash things

Watching helps to handicap future games though especially when guys are injured

I don't think anyone willfully watched UVA v. Wisconsin.

That matchup between Bennett and Ryan is some form of Chinese water torture.

As far as the philosophy, I watch some - I don't watch others. Just depends if I am doing shit or not. The ones I don't watch are a lot less stressful, but the ones I watch for the win were that much more enjoyable.

exactly. Sports betting requires watching a ton of sports. Lakerboy claims he doesnt watch any sports i dont how he handicapps games

Especially right now in college hoops since its so hard to get a read on teams with all the turnover teams have from year to year.

Watching games is like watching a roulette wheel spin... Only 24 hours in the day and always another game getting ready to start so, unless you are live betting, why waste your valuable and limited time?

What will throw me right into a fukkin spin is when these shitsticks start out with " look" or "listen" when they are tripping over they're own shit they want you to buy into...Gruden could be entertaining...But most of em are bumbling idiots at best...
