The temperature at kickoff is expected to be in the upper 30s, dropping to the low 30s as the game progresses. And snow flurries also are possible.

Those weather conditions could benefit the Seattle Seahawks. New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is 4-8 in his career (including playoffs) when the game-time temperature is less than 40 degrees.

Technically, yes. But we're talking 50.5% to 49.5%. The loss of Thurmond and Browner has me on the Saints. Don't think Brees will be hindered that much tonight.

I live here and know the weather well. No chance it snows and the temp will be perfect. Of course it may rain at times but nothing severe with little/no wind.

My bet with a 6 point teaser, Seattle as a pick & over 41 1/2.

I'am 9-1 of the second half of the season and this game is a tough call but deserves a bet. Seahawks are coming off a bye and looking to get their offense back in rhythm after their week off. Here are some stats that are influential in my pick SBR members : Seattle has scored 101 points over their past three games. Seahawks covered 16 of their last 21 home games. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson (2,362 yards 19 TDs, six interceptions, 64.0 completion percentage). They’re 19-8 on Monday night..Saints with the No. 3 offense and No. 5 defense against Seahawks which rank second in total defense (293.3 YPG allowed). Drew Brees will likely try pick on a secondary that just lost Walter Thurmond to suspension and Brandon Browner to injury however Saints offense line is questionable. Saints have struggled against the run, allowing 4.8 yards per carry. If saints allow Seahawks run a superb ground game and control clock in time of possession, put a fork in Saints defense with a loser. The Saints on the road, losing two of their last three away from the Dome and failing to cover all three. Well my game Prediction with stats is whether or not the Seahawks will get consistent pressure on Brees. They have the personnel, but they don't always execute, so if the Saints OL plays well, the Seahawks secondary will struggle covering for long periods of time. If The Seahawks get consistent pressure, I think the secondary will be fine. Maxwell and Lane earned my trust last season when I thought losing Browner would be the end.
Similarly, the Seahawks OL needs to take advantage of a Saints D that has struggled against the run. I'm sure they'll stack the box, so that should help RW find open receivers assuming the OL can pass block like they did against the Vikings. It's going to be loud and very cold during the game. I think that will be a big advantage for the Seahawks. As long as they don't make stupid mistakes and execute like they are capable of, they should Win. Why take a chance on a inflated spread SBR members???? The teaser is the way to go!!!!. Vegas opened line in most sportsbooks Seahawks -4.5, Total: 47.5 ... 5Dimes -6 total 47 1/2 My bet with a 6 point teaser, Seattle as a pick & over 41 1/2. "however I see the Whale$ waiting on 50 yard line for this spread to move up so they can load up on Saints //LOL/LOL My Prediction: While I have a ton of respect for Seattle & their D, their defensive numbers are a bit inflated however I see this game at 28-24 Seattle.

G/L LB. I'ma be on Seahawks too. Probably going to take an alternate spread at + money as well. No way I can bet against them here. The time to fade Seattle is next week IMO. A lot of people say the time to back Saints is next week too, not quite sure on that yet. Either way, no way can I bet against Seattle here. Only thing that scares me is they may come out a little sluggish off the bye. Saw some stat that Seattle is awful coming out of bye weeks, but I think only 1-2 off the bye week in the Pete Carroll era.

Exactly what good teams have they slapped around this year? They beat 1 team with a winning record at the time they played them, and that was San Fran with a then record of 1-0.

Russell Wilson has never lost a home game as the starting QB of the Seahawks. 8-0 in 2012 5-0 in 2013
