Think Car will run the rock and keep Brady off the field. NE 30th ranked in run D and without Wilfolk and Mayo. Of course Brady may carve up that Car D, but will take my chances with Car on the ML. Also lean over.

If a team like TB can come close to beating SEA AT HOME....I wouldn't be laughing. Not sayin they cant take care of business to make it to the Superbowl but the NFC hands down will be the toughest of the conferences in the playoffs this year.

Pat's ML, unless they still want to give points, then I'll take those. Carolina is hot but other than the suddenly beatable 49's who has Carolina really beaten lately? Minn @ 2-8: Atlanta @ 2-8: Tampa Bay @ 2-8: STL @ 4-6. Not exactly a bunch of powerhouse contenders.

Bill Bellichek will have a game plan similar to the one he used vs Pittsburgh.

Gotta keep Cam in the pocket. Dont let Cam beat you with his legs

You got to think Belichick will have a game plan for Smith and Newton. He will neutralize them just like he did Julio Jones and Jimmy Graham.

That was one of those games in pro sports where the dominant team takes a night off (that is why pro sports sucks). Seattle still won and have been refocused since then.

Don't think everyone is on Pats. Lots of arguments in favor of CAR in these threads.

Coming into the season Carolina had the toughest schedule based on opponents 2012 records. New England was middle of the pack. Team Rankings and a few others have Carolina #1 in adjusted strength of schedule (to date) and New England near the bottom.

New England's 2 losses are on the road against teams with better than average defenses (Jets and Bengals). Carolina's defense is equal/better.

    For what it's worth.

Those Pat loses where when Edelman was the primary WR and there was no TE to throw the ball to. Not sure if Panthers can create a pass rush tonight when they have to defend Gronkowski with a linebacker and make sure the safety is with Vereen to defend the pass.

I went with the Panthers but it is impossible to make a convincing
argument either way.. it's just going to be a heck of a game to watch.
Just go with who you want to win.

Other than the Saints who has New England beaten lately? Tampa Bay: 2-8, Atlanta 2-8, Pittsburgh 4-6, Miami 5-5. Both teams have beaten one team with a winning record.

Wasn't favoring one side or the other, just clearing up the misconception that Carolina hasn't "played anybody". See this posted constantly as a reason to pick against them, when in fact it's a false premise.
