    Coming back on the Nets topic, they obviously aren't as bad as they look. Remember 2 years ago the Celtics were 3 or 4 games under .500 at the All Star break and many "experts" were predicting them not to make the playoffs and they ended up 1 game away from the NBA finals.

    Got to look at that team having a 3 year younger Garnett and Pierce on that team. Pierce 3 years go was arguably a top 12-15 player putting up 20 a game. Not to mention Rondo going Oscar Robertson all over the Heat. This team is just plain old.

    Except KG and Pierce were 2 of the 3 best players on that team.

    BKN's 2 best players are injured. Deron Williams has not yet played one game this season at anything near 100% and Lopez has missed most of their losing streak. They've also had a tough schedule playing 8 of their 13 on the road.

    I'm not saying this is a championship contender but look at the east man. You might not even need a winning record to get homecourt lmao.

    I think they could win 36 and make the playoffs, they go up against the Heat or Pacers (likely) they are swept, no doubt about it. KG and Pierce being the two best players on that team doesn't bode well for this year's Nets team as Williams and Lopez don't equal those two circa 2010.
