Good credit is worth it's weight in gold. Predatory lending does exist and will continue to bury the bad credit individuals.

Those who have great credit may not have much cash but those with shitty credit are broke as fukk.

    819 was last FICO.

You buy shit, pay for it.

I already have my house, and pay for vehicles, TV's, etc. in full.

    No need for credit.

If you can't pay for it in Full, then you can't afford it. House is a exception.

C.Cards bury people, don't use them. Emergency? Build a Emergency Fund.

    Mine is around 650.

2 of mine give me cash back, I average about $25 a month in it. My cards are paid off weekly, haven't paid a dime of interest since March 2012 when I got everything under control. Since then **** and Amex have paid me hundreds of dollars to use their card while upping my rating every few months.

Only the disciplined should use Reward C.Cards.

I have a PayPal DC that gives me 1.5% cash back on all credit type transactions. I use that thing for almost everything. I reload my PayPal account every month, so I can take advantage of the cash back.

I also use my Discover card during their 5% promotions. Like their 3 month period during the summer for Gas Station transactions. This quarter is Online Shopping. Card is paid off every month when it is used. You can use their Cashback Bonus on Amazon.

Those rewards card costs get passed through to the merchant, who passes it along to you....it works out great for the card issuers, but it basically screws over the merchant and the buyer

[QUOTE=greenhippo;20242182]Sure we'll have some interesting numbers here.

Mine is 720, once I turned 20 I realized credit is pretty damn important. I want to get up to the 740 threshold. Unfortunately , credit score is VERY , VERY IMPORTANT - keep it above 720 at all cost !!
