I have found in Sports Gambling that making an emotional decision is about 70% to 80% wrong.
It also works the same in life.
From The Mayo Clinic:
Strong emotions can lead to poor decisions (Duh!)
When you get desperate and stressed out, it is time to take a step back and re-group. Why?
1. Bookies love this sh$t
2. Touts make so much money (Monday bailout). They are no better than us.
3. How many times have you received an email and wanted to respond and lay them out?
I immediately respond, but I save it in my Draft Folder and work on something else for 30 mins. I read it again and no way will I send that!
4. We have a bunch of Family health issues and "family members" are freaking out and making stupid decisions. Step Back a Little!
No matter the situation, step back, analyze, and make the logical decision.
If that is not possible at the time, fade yourself!
I am sure many people have realized this same thing, but those strong emotions get in the way.
Please share your experiences, thanks.
