I don't think he is lying. His b-i-l came out of hospital on Thursday Morning and yesterday (Friday) had a different accident. This is common when you are on medication and try to drive against doctor's wishes.

I agree with your sentiment and feel that it would be plausible for a secondary accident to occur. This is one of the reasons we aren't supposed to drive after surgery or while getting used to the affects of medication.
The core of my argument comes from the fact that the supposed B-I-L is able to have a truck that was damaged so severely just days before back to pristine condition within a weeks time and then be worried over a pole grazing?
Even if blood tests weren't given at the hospital from some strange reason, even if they were and yet the car wasn't impounded, how was it still in not just running shape but shape enough to be worried when such a minor incident would happen after his release.
This took a highly suspicious story and raised the bar past fictional to absurd.

I just spoke with Rochestertitans and he told me that this was not his wife or his brother. This was actually was a cashier from wal-mart and a guy that worked at foot locker. The guy at foot locker was wasted.
