    It's an illusion bro.

The players are slower, weaker, shorter, not as long, don't have the same handles.

Name me one player in college basketball (ala Kevin Durant) that is near 7-foot and handles the ball on the perimeter. The offensive players in the NBA are ridiculously talented offensively, and unlike other sports, better offense will win EVERYTIME in the nba. Everytime. Bulls didn't win all those rings because of their D (although they had 2 of the top 5 perimeter defenders). They won because no one could stop Jordan or Pippen one on one off the dribble or in transition. You can stop one premier player as a team, but it's almost impossible to stop 2 top 10 players. Hence, the Lakers rings, the Heat, etc.

College basketball players don't have the 1 on 1 skill set to make defenses look foolish.

You have the PG and the SG handling the ball the whole time, and you have a 6'7 guy playing center....

Obviously, where there is a lack of offensive production (because the talent just isn't there), there is an ILLUSION, that defense is what's preventing this lack of offensive production. Guys are pounding their chest, breathing hard, working hard, diving -- dude, that shit doesn't work in the nba without the talent. Just look at the Bulls recent team. They're the most blue-collar team the last 3-4 years and they haven't been able to do shit.

You know how many points Louisville would score against the Miami Heat in a serious full court game? No more than 35 points...

    Final score: Miami 155 - 35

Who's gonna guard a 6'4 240 pound D Wade on Louisville? Their SG? Yeah right. D Wade weighs about as much as Louisville's power forward. Lebron came in the league weighing 240. He weighs 270 now. Does anyone on Loui even weigh that much?

Bro these guys are perimeter players.... it's not easy to play defense when you're playing against guys with that size/speed, coupled with their skill set. It's literally impossible to stop unless the guy just has an off game...

Dig deeper. And if you still think I'm wrong, then whatever.

You get like 1 rookie every couple years that makes an impact on an NBA team. ONE. If that. What does that tell you about the college product

I remember a couple years ago this guy Draymond Green came out of MSU. Everyone thought the guy was big time -- an amazing college defensive player, heart and soul of Tom Izzo's MSU team. I watched this guy get exposed in multiple games by average NBA SFs. Straight up ruined on a few plays by some elite guys.

Just 'cause you hustle, doesn't mean that shit is gonna help you stop the big boys.
