    How does somebody go from being the most coveted free agent in the NFL what, two years ago, to now being one of the worst cornerbacks in the league?

    Dude's been overrated for years.

    Corners who are afraid to tackle, piss me off.

    Unfortunately, a lot of them are.

    Deion got away with not wanting to hit, because he was athletically freakish and could do everything else at an excellent level.

    He only really had 1 outstanding season and then everyone just stopped throwing at him for four years.I imagine once you perfect your craft and gain that level of respect from every coach in the NFL ,you get lazy and stop putting in the effort that got you there. Then he went Hollywood and it was over.

    I been wondering the same thing.... remember feeling like the Eagles were cheating the year they got him - they appeared stacked on paper.

    allowed just 10 catches in the entire 2007 season. 13 catches in 2009 and 10 catches in 2010.

    best cover corner at one time but lost interest in football.

    He only got thrown at 25-30 times in each of those seasons.
