Couple of questions about NBA stuff...

#1. Does anyone know of any sites where I can read the boxscores all on one page? I hate having to click each game individually. I'd like to be able to see everything on one screen...

#2. Does anyone know of any sites that show the starting lineups a little bit prior to tipoff?

Not sure now but cbssports.com used to be good for the box.

As for the starting lineup why would that be important in the nba?

I can get the boxscores anywhere, I just want them all opened up on one page.

The lineups would be for fantasy.

    1) I have no idea, Giant. Basketball-reference has a ton of box scores together in one section, but you can't see the full ones together on one page. Inside Hoops tried it out for a season a few years ago (I think 2008 or 2009), but they got lazy or just decided it was not worth the time. Seems like a solid idea, though.

    2) The TV companion on NBA.com generally has the starting lineups posted early, but not always 30 minutes before the game. NBA also has a pre-game blog on its website, which can come in handy with the so-called game-time decisions. Twitter is also a great resource for this sort of thing, but you need to familiarize yourself with who the beat writers are and where to find their tweets.

I'm thinking giantnationnbaboxscores.com could be a million-dollar idea. All the full box scores for the night on one page, courtesy of The Giant.

    Good stuff, ParlayinHTown.

I'm just shocked in this day and age we can't get all the boxscores on one page. Someone suggested looking at the LA Times, but I'm not sure how long after the games are finished they take to get their stuff up.

I was told following each team's official site on twitter might be a good way to get the lineups, as well. I'm going to give NBA.com a try, a friend of mine also suggested rotogrinders.com.

Anyway, thanks man. Hope you're doing good.

This is what I was talking about with basketball reference. It's not the full box scores, but they are grouped together on one page.

Giant is looking for a page with every full box score, which include stats like turnovers, rebounds, assists, points in paint, etc. If anyone knows a website that does this, please share.

there isn't one, just like there isn't 1 good fantasy sports site online. Before you name a site like rotoworld. If you ask a fantasy question about your lineup and 3 days later there is still no answer. Its not a good site.

Millions to be made if someone took the time for a good site with a chat room and questions actually get asked with no trolling.

Not enough room for box scores on page for every game,

I'd love to have a Page 6 of a sports section in your local paper version of box scores be available on the net.

    Don't think one exists though.

I still haven't found a good site with every opened boxscore. It drives me crazy, seems like it should be so easy.

I did find a great twitter feed that spits out NBA lineups about half an hour before tipoff though:

    Great job, JJ!!

It doesn't look like the NBA games update as they're being played, but most likely get posted right after.

    Good enough. Thanks pal.
