My initial thoughts are Oregon St. wins ATS here but not by as much as you'd think. 7-14 points MAX. Do you guys think the over is the better play here?

I saw what good passing teams (ASU and Arizona) can do to USC.

    I've seen USC's offense.

Quite confident that USC will not score as many points as Oregon St will.

'Bout as easy as it gets here friends.

The OVER is a terrible play. Why would you possible want to play the OVER? Oregon State is strictly a one dementional offense. They are great at throwing the ball, but terrible at running it. Easy to defend. They hosted Stanford and scored a whopping 12 points. USC is about the same. They are a lot more balanced on offense, but still rank 876th overall. They rank 11 th overall on defense. They have given up `13 points in their last two games. Do you even have any idea of what the Total is now? I rather doubt it.

    guys just bet Oregon St

They will light USC up Friday night, that place will be rockin...

The line should be -6.5/7, but it opened at 3 only because of both teams performance last week.

I know USC is improving, and I've been touting their defense all season as one of the nations best.

    Mannion will light them up

I gotta disagree with you that the over is a terrible play. It all depends on the number. Did you forget the ASU USC game? USC has a great front 7 and an average secondary, Mannion has better numbers and a quicker release than Kelly. On the other side of the ball USC can and will put up points on osu. If you're going to use their performance against Tommy Rees led ND and a Utah team that's pitiful on the road to gauge all your decisions you aren't gonna have a good time. I'm not saying I'm taking the over (haven't capped game) but you gave a very limited description if their defense.

They own USC in Corvallis, haven't lost in like 10 years...

USC 3 practices to prepare for this passing attack...

Oregon St looking to bounce back after a loss that they feel good about, meaning they almost were able to beat Stanford at their own game. They are a little beaten up from that physical match up, however.

USC feeling good about themselves, they need a reality check...

    Marquise Lee still hurt...

Kid, Oregon St can't feel good about that loss to Stanford. Their OL got manhandled by Stanford's front 7. And they did a lot of damage only rushing 4. It was a total mismatch. And their is no running game to slow down the pass rush and when you don't have to blitz the short passing game which is an extension of Oregon St's running game becomes easier to stop. I was high in Oregon St until seeing their OL going against a talented front 7. USC pretty good on D. No way Oregon St rolls USC. May win but it will be a ball game.

It was a poor choice of words, just didn't feel like providing a write up.

We'll see Friday Night 37-24 ish IMO

Hope you are correct sir. I'm a big fan if Mike Riley and appreciate what he's been able to do for that program. Just lost some confidence in that offense/OL after watching them against a real defense.

Uhm the official over/under hasn’t opened up yet to my knowledge, but it is projected to open at 52.5. My initial thinking is leaning OVER: Friday night spotlight game, USC is improving, much weaker defenses on both sides. No way USC's defense is comparable to Stanford's on the road at a place like Oregon st. (remember what they did at AZ st.). I do like Oregon st. -5.5, but still need to do more research before pulling the trigger. I am still very hesitant/skeptical of the intraweek college games, Oregon St. might be the only safe one. I am only capping 6 games this week so I might just pass on this one.

I will never understand the logic that because completely different players on Oregon St. beat completely different players on USC, the new players on OSU will beat the new players on USC.What in f u c k ' s sake does that have to do with anything?Sorry but you should lose with that logic. These announcers are bare none the worst I've ever listened to. Talking about the pylon when it basically had nothing to do with the play. At one point he said "The ball has to touch in-bounds" (as in touch down in the endzone)...... uhh no.

While you are correct to a point, if it is the same kids, or the same coaches, then there could be obvious advantages.

USC defense has held the high power Oregon St. offense to 1 TD, I got the Beavers ml live, starting to have doubts now

did oregon st really snap the ball on 3rd and 23 (usc no timeouts) from their own 30ish, and throw a sideline pass where the WR went out of bounds? they could have left usc with a few seconds rather then over a minute....
