I tried to deposit a check today, but the teller wouldn't even accept it because the check listed the amount in dollars, but not "US dollars." Anyone else have this problem?

Has it been confirmed that the 7-aba number batches are no good, or is there just a hold while they verify the check with the Lebanese bank? Anyone receive a check from a US based bank?

Would love to hear if it would be easier to just go to a cash checking store..

Slow pay like most books. They did charge my credit card a fee every time I deposited. That's enough for me to stay away.

Then my bank lied to me. WSEX, and Diamond SB were the only 2 I received these fees. Linesmaker, Sportsbook, and Oddsmaker - this never happened. It must, in some way have to do with these books.

you may very well be right... I'm going to look into it more.. The only thing my bank told me was if at any point in the process there is currency conversion a Foreign EXCHANGE FEE.. will be charged... She said at some point it must leave the states or that would not happen... If you get a chance ask your bank about this...

Actually I don't know if it was a fake, the bank is saying since it is a check written from a bank out of the country, they can't credit the funds to my account until they receive the money from the foreign bank. I guess just another way of delaying actual payment to their customers.

I am getting so frustrated with delays in dealing with Sportsbook. I requested two withdrawals, both on July 1st, for $500 and $2000.

I received on August 1st a check for $500 for their check drawn on the bank in Lebanon. I deposited it (in the ATM) and my back debited my account promptly the next day as a foreign item check. They have sent it off for collection so as of yet, I have not received those funds.

The second withdrawal of $2000 is supposed to be sent by ACH.
Those funds have not been received whatsoever even though they keep promising it.

Just made a request to withdraw yesterday August 6th around 5:30pm for 2200 to be sent via express and in the form of a check. The waiting game is now on!

Is that recent. Whenever I deposited at WSEX by credit card, not only wasn't I charged a fee, but they usually charged my credit card $1 less than what the deposit was for.

Hello, i just made an account today here but ive been reading up with the threads for a few months now. I've seen the problems that everyone was having with there withdrawals. I just wanted to let everyone know how my status was. I requested a withdrawal on July, 10 and it got sent out to fedex on the 29th. I called them last night and got the tracking #, checked it on fed ex.com and it should arrive by August 8 was for $1000. It was just a feeler withdrawal to see how long it would take to receive because i went threw the whole problems with them beginning back to February. I still have a lot to withdraw but im confident ill get it all.

As for the Lebanon checks... Try and keep in mind that your local banker probably hasn't seen anything like that before.... Just because someone hasn't seen one before or doesn't know anything about it doesn't mean it doesn't exist... People have a very bad habitat with that mentality in this society... They say sh*t like "oh I never heard of that..." They say it like they are all knowing... Tellers don't know everything and you should not assume that they do... Deposit it and leave it alone for the 7-10 days and if the teller questions it take it to the top manager there...

As for it taking 7-10 days... well sh*t people that's what it should take it's half way around the f*ckin' world people it's not next door... DAMN!!!

7-10 days for an international check to clear isn't that bad. SOme banks will make you wait as long as a month. Most likely your bank will charge you a fee. Whoever gets charged trhe fee should ask sportsbook.com to reimburse you.

I used my BkofAma checking account and deposited. The teller must of been an idiot because he actually immediately credited my account, only to have that reversed a couple days later. Then I called Customer Service and they said since it is a foreign check, they can't credit my account till they receive the overseas funds, they said it would take 7-10 business days, but no one hassled me about how I got the check. Now I just hope the things clears.

Yes I requested two... One on 6/9 and the other on 6/10.. Got both of those last week and the week before... I have one from 7-3 and I got an email last night saying it's one it's way via FedEx... I'm sure it will be here... I never called to check on this one because I figured it would be late Aug. before I get it but maybe not we'll see....

I just called FedEx and they said it is in the system... A label was created on Sat. but not yet in their possesion... That's fine I should have it soon then... Cool...

I imagine that I'm not alone in trying to figure out who the best books are these days now that I'm giving up on sportsbook.com (I've been slowly getting cash out over the last six months and finally am beginning to get paid just like most of the rest you).

Would love some suggestions as to where to take my business. Of course I've seen the top 5 sbr reviewed & polled results, but these are a bit dated, so I'd love thoughts about who the best books - from a payout & odds perspective - are going into the football season.

So the lebanon check was returned to me via mail by my bank. They said that in order to get the money they will charge a $40 collection fee and it will take 2-8 weeks. I talked to customer service(if you can call them that) and they said they will re-cut a check within 10 business days, which I guess you multiply by 4, so maybe another 2 months for it. Seriously, how is this sportsbook not rated an F is my question. This is from a June 3rd withdrawal.
