I spoke to bofa twice. The first time to get the swiftcode number and the second time to enquire as to where the wire might be. Both times the reps were suprised that we were only being asked for the swift code. THey siad that the processor would need to also know the routing number. It's possbile the processor may already have that information. Otherwise they would have to egt the informatoon themselves whihc could delay the process.

I asked about the routing number as well and was told they needed that or the swift code, but the swift was more important on international transacations --- Mine was not as Wells Fargo - National City

It showed pending yesterday but funds available -- officially posted last night at midnight - but was fine as an FYI

still no luck on my main 7 - told to wait till Monday for a better answer and next step

I wanted to chime in on this forum as it seems to have the most posts and up-to-the-date info.

I originally ordered two withdrawals on Feb. 23 totalling about $4900. Then I waited and waited and eventually they put the money in my poker account with a 5% bonus. They then reordered a wire transfer on March 23rd for a total of 5,000.

I've been getting the same bs from CS at Sportsbook.com as everyone else. First, my wire transfer was processed on March 22, and it should take 5-7 days. Then 7-10 days, until now I have to wait until 15 days to initiate a trace.

It really helps my mental state of being to hear when some of you get your bank wires and checks in your hands, SO PUH-LEESE POST ON THIS THREAD IMMEDIATELY when that happens.

I now have a total of 7gs over there and it cost me close to 9 on my ************. ********** is not an option as I already inquired to my bank about it and they won't do it.

This money is very important to me as I can't really afford to lose it and will suffer dire consequences if I don't get it.

    Thanks. Ralph

If you are in the US and it has been less than 180 days and you used **** or **, the bank can not prevent a charge back. IF they say they can, tell them you will be reporting them to ****/**. THey will lose their license to issue them. Their tune will change very quickly.

Aside from any sportsbook related issues and as a general rule rather than to you personally - if you can't afford to lose what you deposit, you shouldn't be depositing in the first place. In any case, I hope you get a speedy payment.

I was feeling just like you about the withdrawls and it was driving me crazy. I received my wire today and I would bet money that everyone would receive theirs. Mine was for 9,000 so it's not that they are just paying off the small ones and ripping off the customers with bigger ones. My suggestion is to not worry b/c it's not worth it. It will all come together soon my friend and all the stress will not have been needed. Mine took 9 business days, but I would say expect it to take the full 10 and saturdays don't count as business days.

    Still no Sports.com money

What a bunch of crooks. I call everyday to inquire about my $5,300 that is owed to me. I'm back to their first response of "we are trying a new payment method with our computers" . . . everynight it is a new line. How can these people stay in business. Can't someone shut them down? I asked the operator is he looks on-line to see what people are saying about their site and he said he doesn't have access to a computer. Where are these poeple from. My God. This is absolutely horrible. The strange thing is that about 6 weeks ago I won about $550 and was sent the check within 3-4 days like before. How could things change so quickly? I've been promised my $5,300 for over 4 weeks and nothing is happening.

So, are people saying wire transfers may go quicker? The FedEx option is just not working. Aren't you afraid of them having your bank routing number??? They are such liars.

    Straight from Gambling911.com website.

    Sportsbook.com Payouts Begin Arriving
The largest online sports betting website enjoyed the most successful credit card acceptance rate for new depositors following the mass exodus of payment processors from servicing the US market in late January. That proved both a blessing and a nightmare for what has been considered among the most financially stable betting firms.

Because payouts cannot be accepted back via ************ (courtesy of the Patriot Act), withdrawal requests had been made through cutting of checks. Problem is, Sportsbook.com's long term check writing service also left the US market.

"We began using SP right away but they could not handle our volume," said a source within Sportsbook.com.

With hundreds of payout requests and no processor, the company was left dealing with extensive delays and worried customers, some of whom have been with Sportsbook.com since its start in 1997.

A handful of vendors were paid large sums of money in advance last week, a demonstration of Sportsbook.com's commitment to the US sports bettor. But the US sports bettor was yet to see a check or wire.

Unfortunately, the US prohibition has made it tough on processors, even those located in foreign lands.

"Don't underestimate the international reach of the US Justice Department," commented one attorney involved in major online gambling litigation.

Ultimately, most banking channels do run through the United States. When people say that bank wires should not take more than 10 days, they may not understand the difficulties in sending such wires as they relate to the online gambling industry.

By Friday, a number of Sportsbook.com customers were reporting payments received.

The company was one of the hardest hit by recent changes in the industry due to its ability to take in money (where many other online gambling companies could not) and its rather sizeable customer base.

Gambling911.com had predicted back in October that legitimate online gambling firms would be at the mercy of payment processors, many of which will prove to be unscrupulous. Sportsbook.com has had to take extra care in finding a processor that can both handle its volume and prove reliable in transferring of funds.

There is evidence to suggest that unscrupulous payment processors could have - at least in part -resulted in the collapse of one time online gambling giant, BetonSports.

From what I hear checks are going to take 2 weeks to get to you maybe longer, then they have to clear. It took me 9 business days to get my wire and I have the money in hand now. Bank Wires make me nervous b/c I'm afraid they will get lost and then sportsbook.com would say tough shit. Right now though if I had to do it again I would use a wire. Hope that helps.

now where is the dumbass who said sportsbook and jazette is going down?

they will be one of the last serving us customers.

and by the way go and adress your concerns to your fu..ing senators. they are responsible that you can't do with your money what you want.

sportsbook and jazette did the right thing to stay in business
without creatung panik under their customers.

it may look not so customer friendly but from business point of view eyery step was logical.

    How can you praise them?

    1) For almost 45 days nobody recieved a payment from this company.
    2) The entire time their customer service is denying issues - standard 7-10 business days.
    3) They do not post this on their site - while still boasting of the greatest Credit Card Acceptance rate (very dangerous to charge your gambling debts in the first place).
    4) When money starts being paid - it is not told to the customers - the ones with the credit card bills due - but to a gambling (shill for ads) website.

Glad to have money coming in - but these folks are snake oil salesman - they will NEVER see another dime of my money.

    eisi,

you've got to be kidding me. they did the right things logically? stop shilling for these mofos.

from what they told us, they either lied from day one or were incompetent and spoke without knowing. those are not very good choices.

look, most of the people on this board are not completely ignorant of the current climate. we know there are problems with the processors, but SB should have the common decency not to lie or speak halftruths. treat us with some effin respect as customers. check the other sites, bodog, wsex, etc. most of the reputable ones flat out warn people on their page about the delays in payouts. SB? no way in hell. that really irks me.

on a related note, the people lecturing others about "you shouldn't do this or that," either provide information that is helpful or STFU. no one wants to hear your views on "responsible" gaming. you aren't our fathers.

Well I am the one that took the under 26 on this thread and it would have cashed had these rookies not posted time after f*ckin time these convos. that take a whole page themselves with CS and they were all the same damn thing with a belly achin session afterwards... "Whine whine you see.... my money is never going to get here.. whine whine ..they can have their employees just sit down and write out all the checks...I will never see my wire face it guys whine whine..."
    SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!
My question which has been asked many times but not answered is:

Pinnacle Bodog and others have done the samething why no bitchin about them..? Unless you an explain that to me I don't want to f*ckin' hear it... The fact that sboo did it to more is not the issue... Everyone talking sh*t about how they know what the proceedures are for wires and ASSSSSSUMING it also applies here.. What they think sboo is doing or not doing and they maybe going under... YOU DON"T KNOW PERIOD... YOU DON"T KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON BEHIND THE SCHENES AND YOU WON'T...

i'll bite, even though i'm a "rookie" (which pales in comparison to your membership for the last 4 months, lol).

i don't remember you asking the question "many times" but anyway, here's the thread for bodog:

    http://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/players-ta...w-payouts.html

as for pinnacle, it's off limits to US customers, so that is why there have been no complaints to the extent of sportsbook. seems to me that number of people being screwed is the precise reason why sportsbook has been the focus.

does that answer your question? good. now go away and post about lebrons new house.

It still remains to be seen if SB has the funds available to pay everyone.

I recall situations where the book pays a few then stops paying, like Panam.

I wouldn't be celebrating until I was actually paid, if owed.

I hope you all get your money. 10 payments reported isn't a whole lot.

Their future looks horrible, this delay will never be forgotten. Why would anybody deposit there ever again ?

    Hey ShamsWoof,
Quick question. If you're so confident you'll get paid and annoyed at all the "whiners", why are you on this thread?

I think we'll all get paid, but am I 100% sure? No...what reasons do we have to trust sportsbook? Because a few out of thousands have reported getting some of their money? As for me, I'm not going to sit here and blindlessly believe that i'll get my money. I'd rather keep on top of this.

    Eisi,
You ask the question, "where is the dumbass who said sportsbook and jazette is going down?" Ummm....i think they're still around. Like i said before, i'm pretty sure we'll get paid, but just because a few people out of thousands got paid doesn't mean much. I really hope a lot of people get paid monday.

"sportsbook and jazette did the right thing to stay in business
without creatung panik under their customers."

Haha, what do you call whats transpired over the past month or so, peace and tranquility? I'm not going to assume anything, so I'll just ask the question, do you have any type of business background? Deceiving customers isn't really a good way to keep customers. Could you imagine if this happened to a company like Dell? Let's say for some reason Dell had no way to deliver computers and they had promised computers in 3-4 days to all their customers, but still had no status for everyone after a month. Let's say they were still taking orders and charging w/out mentioning anything on their website. Do you think their customer base would stay with them? It's actually a horrible way to do business. I think the customers would have a right to complain.

What I do agree with a few of you is the fact that we're not all innocent in this. We played with fire (offshore internet gambling) and we got burned (not knowing where our money is).

I am on a lot of threads.. so what!!! If I am so confident about getting paid you ask..? Stupid SH*T like this is why I get irriated... WHAT THE FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF*CK DO YOU THINK IS IN THAT ENVELOPE THAT WILL bE HERE ON MONDAY from DHL.? The REAL reason why everyone is crying like someone took the bottle out of their mouth about this book as opposed to others who have done the same is because they only give attention to what is happening to THEM only... Everyone is like that with almost everything... If it doesn't effect you then who cares....

YOU ALL KNOW GOD DAMN WELL YOU WILL GET PAID but since you don't know exactly when you are throwing a fit calling them and live chats multiple times a day like that is going to help... I want to point this out for the 100th time.... For those of you who think that regular businesses don't do the same as sportsbook did in this case are just plain talking pure garbage!!! THEY DO... IT HAPPENS... DEAL WITH IT!!!! I have to wait a whole year more for my HBO "One Night Stand" Mark Curry DVD WHICH I PAID FOR 2 YEARS AGO... Everyone selling this has delayed it's release FOR THE SECOND STRAIGHT YEAR until the end of this year... It's not with the venders but is with HBO changing the release date... So when you say business's don't do this I can give you MANY examples besides this one...

so... taking our bets, acknowlegding winning bets, allowing us to withdraw, but then keeping money that is owed to us, lying about estimated timeframes of transfer, selectively sending out very small amounts (and not even being accurate about those times and methods) all the while continuing to take more action with ABSOLUTELY NO WARNING on their website unlike industry leaders and competitors is what? doing us a favor? that is the very definition of SCREWING US. i didn't write "screwing us out of our money." i am one of the few that has actually seen money from these guys, but i still have the vast bulk of my funds tied up.

but in a way they are screwing us out of money. are you familiar with the time value of money? the longer they keep it, the more it does cost us in not only interest charges, but lost opportunity of what i could do with it, stocks, bonds, CDs. so in a way they are screwing us out of money, just not in the way you probably think.

but really, what is your point? to tell people not to worry? you check this thread, which is entitled sportsbook withdrawal delay, and rant about how we are overreacting and whining and ASSSSSUMING whatever. by checking this thread you realize there is a problem. if it annoys you so much then quit reading and quit following. i am not opposed to following this thread because most of the posters seem to genuinely want to help others either get some answers from SB or take alternative action, or just hear from others when funds have arrived. what do you bring to the table? what do you offer? absolutely nothing but insults and disingenuous posts. "wait for your money" and "youll get paid when you get paid?" thanks for nothing.

After reading this extremely rational and logical argument, I am suddenly extremely confident that I will eventually be paid by BetOnSports. I really have no idea why I was ever worried. Thanks for enlightening all of us!

Update on checks, for those that are waiting: I, like many others, got an email on Thurs morning saying my check had been sent out; however, DHL has no record of a shipment coming to me, and when I tried to get a tracking number and confirm that the check had been sent, CS told me that their computer system showed that my check was still pending, and would be sent out in a day or two. He also said that my request to break up the check into 3 checks of $2K each had not been heeded, because they wanted to save processing money by sending it out as one big $6K check. I theorize that this may be why my check hasn't actually been sent, since DHL has a $2K limit on checks...

In any case, I would say that I am more hopeful than a week ago that I will get paid, but it would be great to actually see the $. Moreover, those who are waiting for checks, be aware that the emails saying "sent" may not necessarily be true. (Much like everything else, of course.)

Why don't you stop putting words in my and sportsbook's mouth... I never said that was my best example as I have MANY... This one is just still pending is all.... I have examples with remotes, shoes, clothes, computer hardware...ETC. Again as I stated above unless it effect you it doesn't matter that is why you ignore my pending DVD.. My point on the DVD YOU STUPID F*CK!!! is legitamate businesses do things like sportsbooik... You are assuming they lied when in reality THEY MIGHT have had a processor and there could have been a hundred things that could have went wrong with the processors proceedings and not sportsbook's.... I am not saying it did but I am saying you simply DO NOT KNOW and stop acting like you do... Furthermore I check this thread because I want to see what else comes up in here... There are usually interesting points that come up about sportsbook or even non related topics and after looking back you didn't post sh*t either that helped... Since you are stupid I'll make it clear what my stance has been the whole time and that is to not let fear lead you to an impulsive or bad decision... Is that clear enough for you dumba**? I also understand that you run around your definition of "screwed"... There is no bullsh*t about kinda got screwed.. You either did or did not yet there is no kinda to try and fit your pathetic point...
