    Well they got me good too. I wanted to withdraw around 1,200 dollars and got the same response. So eventually I blew my entire balance. I thought it was just me though. I have found solice in knowing other people were having the same troubles lol. My only concern is how safe is it to have our credit card information with these clowns? Its apparent off shore online gaming has hit the wall. Im very much considering cancelling my card and having a new number sent to me. I mean what country regulates these gambling sites? They could walk off with billions without any recourse.

    i was hoping that TRUN posted thi s morning and said he had the wire in his account. Then we all would have been able to feel a little bit better.

    but that is not the case. i dont understand why he would not yet have it either. how are they going to porcess more bank wires, when the one sent out last week as a test have not even been received yet.

    Just called Sportsbook and they said the new check processor is working and will be updated for use on their site within 3 or 4 hours

    I just won last night and this is the first I found out about it. Was very happy when I won a 6 team hockey parlay and then found out about the trouble with this crap.

    They guy on the other end said, "People call us 4 or 5 times a day and they get pissed at us because the reason we give is not satisfactory to them, our supervisors tell us what to say but I can assure you the problem has been fixed and it will be operational this afternoon"

    We'll see what happens by the end of the week... As I said last week I am very confident it will all be set this week and positive feedback will start coming in but we'll see.. I could be wrong but I doubt it...

    TRUN hopefull you will get your money tommorrow, or at leats aprt of it. That is the end fo the 3-5 day period they suggest, so hopefully they are right. I couldnt imagine how a wire could take more than 5 days from the day it was sent, but i do not know the whole process very well.

    If anyone even received an email update on their withdrawal request, that says the wire was sent, please update us. They were supposed to have sent some out today. Not that you will get it yet, but at least the email confirmation.

    This is my first post, however I have been actively watching this thread ... I too also am having may issues with withdrawaling from SportsBook. I initially submitted my $1,100 w/d request on 2/27. I never received an email from them telling me that they credited my $$ back to my acct nearly 3 weeks later...So then I submit my request for a wire on 3/16...

    Then I log back into my account today, and I have a message from them telling me I need to contact Customer Service. After multiple cut and pastes from the CS rep, he tells me I need to REverify my Wire information --- REverify? Don't you have all the details about my wire information that I gave you when I submitted the request? He responds, "the withdrawal department has that information, i need you to repeat it so I can pass it onto them to be verified."

    At this point I was tired of the run around, and I really wasn't comfortable giving someone the same information I had already given them in an online form that is supposed to follow my w/d request -- it just doesnt really make sense to me.

    Long and the short of it is, that until I get my money, I'm going to do all my business over the phone with them -- potentially even asking them to allow me to record the convo... Just so I've got documented details, but I fear that SB is just back up to their old stall tactics again ... Same old run around, same old cut and paste reponses ... Still no money. I know --I-- for one will never be back there once I receive my money ... I'd rather be lied to by a streetcorner book with a face then an online book with no face ... Just bad business IMO...

    The lying bastards at Sportsbook.com after telling me and others that the check option would be available by 4:00 p.m. today, have now updated the site on the withdrawal page to say check option available March 26th. The pricks just added on another week and when I called back some dumb female puts me on hold and tells me the obvious that they changed it to the 26th and of course gave no reason why

    I hope you all get paid and if you do, I hope you never play at sportsbook again.

    This company is not the old sportsbook company, and I suspect they are in big financial trouble.

    Banks don't lie about processors. If you call a bank and tell them we want to process $30million through you and we are a sportsbook, they say yes or no or we'll get back to you in a day- not, let us check for 3 weeks.

    If you paid any of these non paying books with a credit card within the past 180 days, charge it back. If your bank tells you that you only had 60 days, inform them the **** and ** policy is 180 days... Good luck. Send your disputes certified with a return receipt.

    I am not real familiar with the charge back process. Can anyone help me out and tell me what the specifics are and what the pros and cons are. Right now I have about 3k tied up with sportsbook.com and am pretty sure these guys are flaking again.

    I suppose if your credit card company wanted they could tell you you violated your user agreement and close your card. I highly doubt they'll do that.

    You can not charge back your balance - only what you deposited... Simply tell your credit card company that the company in question did not provide the product they advertised. They will then dispute the amount, give it back to you temporarily and await sportsbook's response. Since sportsbook prob does not have a legit cc processor, they will not respond and 60 days alter, your refund will become permanent.

    A very simple letter sent certified will do the trick.

    I made purchase XXXX on ++++date for ____ amount. The company has not provided the advertised services. Please dispute this charge on my behalf. Thank you.


    BTW, I am very much against charge backs except when someone is being ripped off. Many people abuse them.

    You made an interesting point IOdds that I hadn't thought about.. You have to wait 60 days before you can have your funds back and it won't be the sportsbook balance but what you deposited... So I guess you got to weigh out that it might take longer to get much less... hmmm

    Well you have 180 days per **** and ** (Although some banks will wrongfully tell you 60 days and require some prodding) so depending on when you deposited, you may be able to wait a bit.

    Chargebacks are a real mess for books - their credit processors get locked up... so I dont advocate them except in the most extreme cases which this is becoming.

    Well, it could make sense -- they don't take any new withdrawals but focus on processing all the ones submitted to get rid of the backlog. I submitted my withdrawal last Thursday (by check) so was told this afternoon that it should be mailed Wednesday or Thursday at the latest. I'll still wait and see.

    As far as chargebacks, this may be a stupid question, but: if you're gonna ********** the deposits you're waiting on and if you say that sportsbook won't respond, then why not ********** all your deposits (even the ones you cashed out) for the past 180 days? After all, credit card companies won't know that you actually got your deposits out. It doesn't make sense to me. Also I don't want sportsbook to collapse with all these chargebacks. But if anyone wants to try it, then please post.

    Also, of course if anyone receives a wire or any news of their check actually being mailed, please post as well.

    I just requested a wire for 2,000. We will see how long it takes. I went and opened a new bank account as I sort of stiffed the last bank I had two years ago. Actually someone bounced a large check on me and it overdrew my account and I said fork it.

    Great when you can open a bank account without a SS#

    My bank sadi it coul dtake up to 5 days for an international transfer.

    I do not know this for sure, but is sounded like they may have snet your withdrawal out a day or two later than they had originally said. I know they give very different stories, but i had heard through a slightly more rliable source, that even the batch that was a preliminary test batch, which i belive is what yours was in, may have not been actually sent until thursday or friday of last week.

    I have no idea if thi sis teh case, but that would explain th elonger than expetced wait time for you.

    Like they processed them on tuesday or wednesday, but did not really send out until end of week.

    Not sur e though of course.

    Can someone esle post on here if they were told their withdrawal was sent somehow?

    bank question

    my bank is national city and i called them today to get my ABA routing # and swift code...i was then put on hold for about 2 minutes and the operator asked what i needed the ABA routing # for and i told her it was for a internet site like ebay that was asking for the routing #...my question is do you think there is a red flag now attached to my account waiting for any suspicious transfers to my account?

    i just dotn even understand what is goin g on there?

    they have renewed contracts recently, had added things to their site (which costs money), and have doen many other things that suggest they are stickiing around, but yet still, in the end, no one has receievd their withdrawals in over a month.

    Any chance someone from here can look into it again?

    They told me that they submitted my request to thier processor yesterday. They said it should take 3-5 days. But the 3-5 days is from when the processor sends out the money. Depedning on who this processor is, the money might get sent right away, or some of these guys sit on the money for a few weeks before sending it

    boy, this is fun. nothing like having a bunch of money (and a large chunk, at that) sitting unreachably in Vchips. I use linesmaker, not sportsbook, but obviously the same problems are happening there too. The guy I talked to claimed that withdrawals were being sent now, but admitted that there is no way to verify this, and says that past problems "will not happen again" and that "there is no need for concern now." Sounds like bad Jedi mind tricks...."these are not the funds you are looking for..."

    So is there anything legal that we can do about this travesty? I haven't tried charging back my credit card, because that doesn't seem quite right (and I don't know exactly how to approach that yet), but it'd be nice if there were some recourse.

    stiffedandburned, shamswoof, I'm frustrated enough to be tempted to take the over on that 26 pages. (Especially if we're allowed to fix matters a bit with self posts....=)
