Isn't this bet based on who wins AAC Tournament? Regular season only matters for seeding. And don't forget about Memphis.

they've played rutgers, ucf, houston, and temple

the game before that they lost to cincy..at home

however, i still think they win their conference .. no way i see Cincinnati winning it

got louisville in at least the elite 8

depending on their bracket could most definitely be a final 4 team without a doubt

Cincy at number 7 tells me all I need to know about the college landscape this year. Throw them and SDSU out, add LVille and maybe Mich. St. and you got the winner of it all. Parity isn't as big as the media wants to make it. These bum teams after these teams aren't winning 6 in a row.

Yes, there's a chance.....however it is very very slim chance. I would say at this point in the game, Louisville would probably be in the +350 - +400 range. Even if Louisville wins at Cincinnati, which is a big if, they are still a half game behind. OK, so with that game in hand, Louisville beats Temple at home, to square things up. Last 3 games for Louisville are at Memphis, at SMU and home vs UConn. About as hard as you possibly ask. Cincinnati's last 3 would be at UConn, vs Memphis and at Rutgers.....definitely easier. The difference is Louisville at SMU, which is turning out to be one of the toughest outs in the country, and UC at Rutgers. At very very best, you may be able to get a push here......Good Luck.

Um, waaaaa? Line will be closer to a Pick, IF Cincy is favored, they won't be more than -1.5.

At what book seaborneq? If it is 5 Dimes, I seem to remember that the bet is for the regular season, but if the teams finish tied, tiebreaker is which team is seeded first in the tournament.

Sure......but even if Louisville does win on Saturday, Cincy will still be the sizable favorite to win the AAC based on remaining schedule.

Why do you say that? I think THIS is Louisville's toughest game remaining. If they win this game, they should win out (at least they will be favored every game)

Cincinnati will be an underdog in its next game at Connecticut. So if Louisville wins out (strong possibility if they beat Cincy) and Cincinnati loses at UConn (also strong chance), Louisville wins the conference.

If Louisville beats Cincinnati and then both teams win out, then the teams will finish tied and the top seed would be determined by who has a better conference record between SMU (Louisville wins tiebreak) or Memphis (Cincinnati wins tiebreak). I don't even want to think about what happens if SMU and Memphis finish tied or if Louisville wins Saturday and then both teams lose one more game afterwards.

Yes LT, you are correct. Who ever is the number 1 seed in the conference tournament is the regular season champion.

I'm sorry LT, but Louisville would likely be underdogs at both Memphis and SMU. Not sure why you say there's a strong possibility of them winning out. Say they are +110 vs Memphis, +110 vs SMU and -175 at home vs UConn....what does that work out to on a parlay?

No they won't. The books usually clone Pomeroy and kenpom has them winning out. Remember also if Louisville beats Cincy, they will carry a long win streak into those games further inflating their lines.

Keep in mind that some sets of power ratings have Louisville as the #1 team in the country right now. Pomeroy has them #6, Cincinnati #20, SMU #28. Memphis #33.

seaborneq is a huge UConn fan today.

But even if Cincy wins, Louisville still wins the conference if it wins out and SMU finishes ahead of Memphis. So if Cincy wins today, root for SMU too.
