    Mauritius is one option
    Stay away from Cyprus

Islands in the W Indies used to be a good place to hide cash - not anymore

People are correct when they refer to the long arm of the Treasury Department - they are relentless now in discovering overseas deposits held by US citizens. There are significant penalties assessed for just neglecting to report money held overseas (I ran into this with a Japanese investment). Next, the US government will began taxing overseas deposits (it's coming).

My guess they will start taxing overseas business that do business with the American stock market might take 25 or 30 years because hedge funds are so powerful but just because a business location is out of the Cayman Islands doesn't mean it shouldn't be taxed. Most of your big money hedge funds don't pay any business tax, because they're located in the Cayman Islands. The person who operates the hedge fund/trades is often times in NYC though. The only thing in the Cayman Islands is some dope who is there so they don't get taxed by the US government. No taxes in the Cayman Islands for Businesses

This effects you, because your retirement funds are tied to the stock market in some capacity. The hedge fund has a higher return because of no taxes so they are able to hire lobbyist so they can manipulate the market and have no consequences for it unlike your retirement account managers. Since the hedge fund has higher return rich people will invest in a hedge fund.

if is going to go route that is semi illegalI would suggest to think a to fake aliases both of which game passports for in separate countries 1 being a Middle Country the other being the final destination I would transfer the money into Bitcoin each one registered with a different email address

I would end up in St Kitts and Nevis
However I would also live there with my pop payments being made to me through an international shell company passing me the real person as a consultant

If it's already money that has been made, doyounotgetit was right, there is no legal way to store it. You can EARN money in places like Belize, Caymans, Seychelles and have it protected. The government is not going to care about your measley deposit, your concern is a divorce lawyer or something like that, in which case you'll be safe.

There is one place I know where you can store just about anything that's not drugs no questions asked. They got grandfathered into this rule pre-9/11/2001, and they have clients from all over the world....

They got robbed last year, which was a good thing, because they upped their security levels to where they needed to be. They have drug-sniffing dogs, but you can stash anything else you want there, and the only form of ID they use in an iris scan, so you're completely anonymous.

Unless its a shit ton Belize or Antigua.

Switzerland is the obvious choice but unless it is a whole lot (more than 100 million) then it isnt worth it.
