As much as it pains me, I think Lakers win about 40 next year DEPENDING on how quick Bryant comes back. Even an old Bryant/Nash/Gasol is worth 40 wins.

Detroit was my first look, but there's no way they won't improve this year over last.

Pacers over looks good too. They'll be even better this year with a healthy Granger. Team could win 60.

    Are you a laker fan?

I tend to agree with you. Fans are always a year too early in their expectations of teams with a bunch of added superstars.

Really like their addition of Nick Young. Kid can absolutely score at the off-guard spot.

I liked Miami earlier when I thought their total was 60 wins. 61.5 eats into the edge.

Feel like the bulls might be a good under bet.

Said the same thing but they priced that in with the Vegas zone total (37-42). Vegas has no clue if they will be good or bad. Betting over for the Pistons at 39.5 or 40.5 means you think they are Lakers, Hawks, Rockets, or Celtics of last season. I don't know I see Detroit being a 35 win team, but 40 wins is stretching it. I would still take the over, but better bets are on the board.

They priced it at the worst Laker season with Kobe at around 35. I don't think they're that bad. The over has already been hammered. Worst I see the Lakers is a 30 win team, because of the refs.

Bulls will never win the NBA Title with no second superstar (dumbest bet have no clue why people bet them so much). Bulls will have the best record in the East. People forget that when D-Rose played, Bulls had the best record in the East. Bulls team is built for the regular season. Deng, Noah, Butler and Boozer by themselves is a 45 to 50 win team. You're betting on the Bulls to be the third place team in the conference so Nets, Knicks, or Pacers will have to be in second.

Unless you think the Knicks are going to be great than it is almost impossible to have the Bulls and Nets under both hit.

    lol.

Bryant has made the playoffs with much, much, much worse teams. Bryant won't not make the playoffs. And it takes a min. of 42 to make it out west.

I'm not reading through that entire list. It's crowded and unorganized.

Brooklyn will win more than 50 games.

    Detroit will win 38-44 games.

If that is your best bet reevaluate your NBA knowledge. Cavs could be good, but there is no way with any degree of certainty you can say that.

You're basically saying that Anthony Bennett or Dion Waiters will be a superstar. If you are betting on Bynum you're a t@rd

Kyrie is a superstar, Jarret Jack very solid starting SG, Earl Clark can play the SF, Tristan double double guy at PF and Varejo at Center....

Haven't even hit the bench of Waiters (6th man of year candidate), Bennent, CJ miles, and Karesev...

    That's DISREGARDING, Bynum..

Fan of all local Houston teams. People expected too much and now think because of the injuries they sustained last year the team will stink it up. No chance I think.

Jarret Jack is a bench player on a good team and not good, Earl Clark is a bench player on a bad team, Tristan Thompson won't be starting, because they will be starting Bennett. Varejo is a bad center and injury prone. You're betting on Bennett or Waiters to be a superstar. They are not winning 40 games just because of Kyrie Irving is on the team. Chris Paul had better talent on those under .500 New Orleans teams and Kyrie Irving is no Chris Paul. Kyrie Irving is no Derrick Rose who is a scoring machine.

You're betting on Bennett or Waiters to be a superstar otherwise you have no clue what you are doing.

You also forgot about the coach.

Detroit has a beastly front court, cannot be matched by anyone other than Indiana (maybe Nets - but Lopez is soft). Teams will get beat up playing the Pistons this season, especially at home.

If Cavaliers are any good, Detroit will play at least 16 games against the Best Division in the East. Add in games 3 or 4 games against Heat, Nets, Knicks and the home and homes against the best teams in the West against the Clips, Thunder, Spurs, Grizz, Rockets, Warriors, Denver, and Blazers. That's over 25 losses expected, and only 17 more needed. I can't see the Pistons winning 75% of their home games. So that equals a losing record.
