    Georgia -10.5 @ Tennessee

Seems like a big letdown spot for Georgia. Tennessee supposedly wearing their alternate uniforms for the game. 3:30 on CBS. Here's a look at the new uniforms...

Georgia will win this game, but 10.5 is a bit problamatic here. Tennessee has played UGA tough in their last two meetings, losing by 8 and 7 points respectively. However Tennessee has not defeated UGA since some guy named Lane Kiffin was their HC. Remember him? So far, Tennessee has won the games they were suppose to win and lost the games they were suppose to lose. If Florida can put 31 up against them, what can the UGA offense do to them? Even South Alabama put up 24.

with you here BD. My initial lean is Georgia but I'm worried about them letting down after a big W at home. I figured Tennessee would not cover this week because of Georgia coming to town but I did not expect them to win by only a TD and give up 24 points to South Alabama. Georgia should torch Tennessee's D (look at their last 3 games, not good). The only thing I'm worried about is a Georgia let down on the road.

That said, Georgia is still hands down the better team. Tennessee not very good on both sides of the ball. I expect Georgia to win by 14. Will wait and see what the line does though

Just came back from Athens. Everyone is talking about the letdown game with Tennessee. No one thinks Georgia has a chance in this game.

Well what do you mean by letdown game?

Not covering the 10.5? Sure, it is possible. Why? The phallacy of most gamblers is literally thinking that a team gives a shit about covering a number just so other people can make money. It is laughable bullshit. I can almost assure you that if UGA is ahead by 3 points with 3 minutes left in the game and they have an 80 yard drive to get a TD, Richt is not saying to himself "Let's get a touchdown AND get a 2pt conversion so gamblers can make some money."

Letdown because they lose the game? Lol. UGA isn't losing the game. Kentucky and Tennessee are like the "special" teams in the SEC. They are the teams that top quality SEC teams circle as wins without an after-thought. Unless Peyton puts on Tennessee Orange again for one more game, Tennessee will lose. Sure UGA prepare hard every week, but Tennessee is a garbage team.

This is COLLEGE FOOTBALL. South Carolina will run through their SEC schedule (Florida is not beating South Carolina or UGA), so UGA will want to win all of their games just so there is no tiebreaker conversation at all. If either of these teams want anything better than some shit Outback Bowl they will need to win the SEC and winning the East is where that starts.

Alabama is on letdown game. I don't think they can score 57 points to cover the spread. So they will let down.

It's a pretty fun place to tailgate and go to the game. Rocky Top gets old the 5000th time the play it though. They fit 100k in that stadium because the seats are about | | that far apart from each other. God help you if your seat is next to some big momma taking up 2 or 3 "seats".

agree with all that. When i say letdown, it means I am worried about them covering not whether they win/lose. They know they are better than tenner, tenner knows that too. I just am worried about Georgia just getting enough done to win as opposed to the whoopin they would normally put on them given they didnt' have a big W over LSU this past weekend

Tennessee definitely has some pretty women. Most SEC schools do but they are up there from what I've been fortunate enough to see. Goodnesss.

it's really like 26 but that's because of their 45-0 win in their first game against austin peay. You are correct, in their last 4 games they have given up 33 ppg. Also from what I've picked up the Tenner atmosphere for gameday has been somewhat weak recently. I am currently liking Georgia right now.

South Alabama gave Tenn a good fight and North Texas scared Georgia for a bit also. Wouldn't be surprised to see this line at -13-14 by game time.

yeah kinda surprised the line is so low.

they could set this line at -14 and everyone would still pound Georgia

    very true. Tennessee is terrible.

But Georgia has a tendency to play down to the level of their competition a few times a season.

Maybe books thinking Georgia will not be focused this week after an emotional win.
