kiffin is going to re-built the carroll dynasty and then some

Newsflash - Kiffin has a massive talent advantage over all his opponents, already. #1 QB and a two of the best WR's in the country. Winning at football is a lot more than stacking 5 star guys.

They have the most talent in football already.

Kiffin would ruin the 85 Bears or 72 Dolphins. His dad thinks he sucks.

Oregon romped USC with a huge talent discrepancy this year. USC would get elite 5 star recruits with Jerry Sandusky coaching the goddamn team. USC does that on its own.

Get rid of Kiffin and bring an elite program back to title contention.

i know that this "yeah but kiffin is the coach" thing would take over. but listen, this guy is stacking percy harvins and manti teos all over the place. they could have a cockroach coach this team the next couple of years and they will still win pac-12 and even national titles. im talking about scouts being amazed at what he is doing recruiting. 5 5-star guys already thats ridiculous, he is the calipari of ncaaf and he might finish the year with 3x's the class of alabama. amazing.

The point we are trying to get across to you is that he has 3 top 20 draft picks, and the team is still struggling. He is a pee wee coach with NFL talent. Doesnt mix well

Oregon hardly ever has a top 25 recruiting class, they recruit players that fit their system and they have one of the best coaches in the nation. As long as Kelly's in Eugene and Kiffins in LA the ducks will be better than USC.

I understand in college recruiting is thee most important thing - HOWEVER - top recruits have some interesting personalaties, and it takes a certain type of person to manage that many future millionaires.

Kiffin doesn't have it. If he were to start getting better assistants, like former head coaches and pay them extremely well, then he might have a chance.

As much as I dislike Calipari, there aren't 5 other coaches in the entire NCAA that can manage the kids he keeps getting.

i hate kiffin as much as the next guy, but the reason usc has been struggling against top competition is due to a lack of depth. they're still playing under sanctions where a bunch of scholarships have been revoked. they're extremely thin on defense especially. monte (pops) needs to go regardless though, game passed him by a while ago.

They're missing scholarships but they kept recruiting at a very high level. Elite talent still looked USC's way.

I think what is for certain is they have the most NFL players at the skill positions on offense than any other team in the nation.

Barkley, Lee, Woods, That Peen St. RB.... etc.

no doubt, but championship teams are made in the depth charts and usc used to get 3* and 4* guys to commit just to compete for starting jobs. now those guys are going elsewhere because they need a scholarship and they're not just going to walk-on.

    You think this is new?

Their team is littered with 5-star players now

    In 2010, USC signed 6 five-star players.

    In 2011, USC signed 4 five-star players.

It doesn't matter. Lane Kiffin is still the coach.

Take away the win @Oregon ly and he has done fuk all ever anywhere he has ever coached

But he got the big upset followed up with a 50-0 win over UCLA so he got the whole country to jump on board that he's legit and has SC back. Fooled em all.

How the fuk he got here is pretty crazy jumping from big coaching gigs despite doing nothing Raiders to Tenn to SC and he's only 37 unfukinreal

Exactly, how many 5 star recruits did Boise have during the Kellen Moore years?

He likely would be very good, but there is a different mindset coaching the diva's that go to USC, vs. some of the guys just looking to get a shot at Boise. Some people are better at getting the best out of less. Example: Scott Skiles, gets bad players to buy in, superstars shove him away because he is too demanding.

How would Peterson deal with a bunch of 5 stars? As much as everyone like to crap on Kiffin, it must be a nightmare trying to control a bunch of 20 year old divas with entourages, agents/friends of the program all over, hot chicks in every direction, rapper friends, and all the distractions of the LA area. Different world compared to Boise or Tuscaloosa.

true, not everyone can or is even willing to coach the divas.

petersen apparently really enjoys life in boise and doesn't seem to be in a hurry to leave. that could change though when the oregon job inevitably becomes open again. that seems like the next perfect job for him for some reason.

    THIS.

USC has great talent, but that's also their curse. They are not a great team. You have guys looking to be individual stars, not a great team. Saban recruits Top 10 talent, but look closely how he has built his team. A mixture of star talent, but his team is hungry.

USC just isn't built like that.

Whats makes u think the oregon position opens up anytime soon? Oregon wins the NC this year with a red shirt freshman QB and a young, speedy defense and it will have people thinking dynasty. Oregon pays CK the big bucks and they have state of art facilities. Easy conference to play in, and plenty of national fan support. Ck aint goin anywhere anytime soon, bub.

BTW Oregon is going to get crucified by the NCAA after this season. Not sure if that is main stream knowledge yet, but theyre going to get buried worse the SC did over the Reggie Bush shit.

Chip Kelly really wants to win this year because he will be in the NFL next year, guaranteed.

no challenge of the pros he broke every rule in the book and is going to get out of dodge before they bury the program, a la pete carroll.

Oregon fans better live it up but I would say anything they win or have won in the past 6-7 years will disappear just like every thing USC racked up in the early 00s.

The only problem is he wil be coaching them...so they will end up going to the league without winning much of anything in college.
