King of Pac-12 Oregon or Stanford?

To me Stanford by a hair. Everytime these 2 teams play its close/exciting. Everybody gets wet over the speed of Oregon's offense by keep it mind Stanford has great athletes as well. smart coaches. Very physical on both sides of the ball. One of the few teams left with a old-school run-game. I think Stanford wins again this year.

    who wins it this year?

I think Oregon is going to roll them KD.

Stanford played well against ASU----and I think Stanford can keep it relatively close for a half, but ultimately, Oregon wins by double digits.

I think last year was kind of fluky for Stanford to beat Oregon---- even in Stanford's great 2011 year, Oregon hung 50 on them.

Stanford can stop Oregon gimmick offense....Stanford could have trouble with Ucla because they have a "pro" offense

I say Oregon all the way. Stanford doesn't have a good enough offense to keep up with Oregon. The real question is UCLA or Stanford who seem to have teams that are both about even. I would say that game would be -3 to the home team.

If Only UCLA didn't have to play them B2B on the road, they'd have a shot...

UCLA will probably not even win the PAC 12 South. They have a habit of starting off like this only to fold like a cheap tent at the end of the season. See 2012 when they lost to Stanford twice in two weeks and then got their tails kicked all over San Diego by Baylor.

I like Stanford because Oregon has problem against physical teams, and Stanford can muscle them all over the field. Oregon is certainly much faster, but they cannot take the physical pounding that Stanford can dish out. Stanford wins that game in the 2nd half, and the Pac 12 Conference in the process.

Stanford beat Oregon last year because of the size of there offensive and defensive lines. Not about to happen this year.

I agree they will play losing football towards the end of the season. Baylor killed them in that bowl game last year

UCLA is a good team, but very undisciplined, evidenced by the 15 penalties for 138 yards they accumulated in there game with New Mexico State, with many of those penalties being for unnecessary roughness. This lack of discipline is going to come back to haunt them by years end.

I am a Stanford fan, but I have to go with Oregon. I think Stanford has already hit their talent peak and are now on the downhill side. Still a very good team, but they have never been able to keep their talent level at a high level for a long period of time. This is due to the academic standards, but also they lack of a real enthusiastic fan base. College football simply isn't big in the Bay Area and the big time recruits know it.

agree... i visit SF alot and i don't see any stanford and/or california enthusiasm on the peninsula (about 15 miles north of stanford is where i stay).... contrast that with the amount of giants/niners stuff i see or the amount of ducks stuff i see in eugene (probably 40% of everyone i see in wal-mart is wearing ducks gear)

Oregon all day, and I really like Stanford.

Stanford defense is really good, but it won't be able to stop Oregon.

The Oregon/Stanford game will probably be my biggest play of the year.

While Stanford's defense won't stop Oregon, Alabama on the other hand...

Oregon is the best team in the country at this point of the season, no question about it. All you hear about is Alabama this Alabama that, but in actuality they have not played that well this year, where as, Oregon has been totally dominant on both sides of the ball.

I heard when I was watching the USC/Washington State game that apparently WSU has been USC's whipping boy for a LONG time. Kiffen's dumbass fukked that game up and a Carrol coached USC would have beat them.

I say all that to say USC is Stanford's whipping boy and Stanford will crush WSU.

I just see that every year for a while now that no matter who else they hype up, the best SEC team beats whoever they play in the Championship. Why? SEC lineman wear anybody down given enough time. It isn't about QB's or WR's. It is about the big dudes up front who are bigger than the other team's big dudes up front who break down teams in the trenches and open up big holes for RB's. Then it is a wrap.

    But, we will see.

If OSU makes the national title game over Oregon (assuming they both go undefeated), then that is a damn shame.

I sure hope they don't make it.

I just know all the networks (and I assume writers) suck Urban Meyers dikk and want sooooo much for him to be back in the BCS Championship game.

lol @Washington. Most undisciplined team in the league, penalties will cost them at least one game they should win again. OL still a question mark until they play a team with talent up front.

    Oregon

    UCLA/Stanford

    Washington

    Everyone else
