Starting to Look Like Ray Rice WILL Play

Seemed doubtful as recently as yesterday, but he was walking without a limp this morning so it all depends on how he responds to treatment.

hip flexor injuries are no joke.

he shouldn't play this week if he knows what's good for him.

Including the BOSS! http://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/players-ta...ick-yeaar.html I don't hate the Texans here, this is not the same Baltimore team as recent years and the offense was miserable vs. Cleveland. If Houston blankets Torrey Smith, Ravens really have nobody else at WR to step up.

brown has played pretty well in jones place and it not like sd has a bunch of studs on the outside and they passed all over hou, i just still thnk hou pass d is vulnerable to the deep ball and flacco throws a nice one or schaub as a guy to continue leading them back from behind.. i dunno im just not in the camp to be lining up to fade balty as a dog at home even willing to concede they clearly are not the same team as years past..

That's kind of what I was thinking, but Walker's huge on the Texans, so I'm just going to pass altogether.

is reed playing ? houston should be 0-2 right now really. but i think they have learned from their mistakes and will not let this game get away from them. they have not beaten the ravens at home ever , and that is not a stat to overlook one bit, but like LT said flacco doesnt have that many options . the offense will struggle . houston will win. that kicker better get his head on straight for this one though. cuz they are going to have a tough time getting into the end zone. he missed what 3 fga's against the titans ?

As square as houston is its gotta be the play. This ravens team just isn't that good. I can't see u taking balty with justification other then the home dog trick angle.

Ray Rice listed as doubtful per rotoworld.

What does this make Pierce? Top 15-20 RB?

That would have been the case regardless, even the morning report that Rice wasn't limping said that Pierce would be the lead back this week.

Ray Rice (hip) is listed as doubtful for Week 3 versus Houston.

The doubtful designation officially means the Ravens believe Rice's chances of playing Sunday are 25 percent or worse. They previously stated he'd be a game-time decision, but the odds are heavily against Rice dressing against the Texans. Appearing on ESPN's NFL Insiders Friday, John Clayton suggested it would be a "miracle" if Rice played. Expect Bernard Pierce to flirt with 20-plus touches in an average to above-average matchup.

Ravens should sit him. Pierce more then worthy of filling in. No need to risk hurting Rice more then he already is.

Hard to gauge thus far. Broncos light them up week 1, and hold the Browns down week 2. Nothing really surprising there.

Man this game is tough! I'm pretty outspoken about my feelings towards Houston I don't trust them on the road, Schaub, and that overrated defense. Sick and tired the last several years hearing all these clowns predicting Texans in SB please this team is just good not elite. Bottom line even without Ray that just means Flacco will be flinging it 35/40 times and if he has protection that plays to Texans weakness their secondary. I see a 23-20 type game here either way flip a coin but books probably get plugged on both sides of this game teased. Gl

A source tells the Baltimore Sun that Ray Rice's hip flexor strain is regarded as a two-week injury.

Rice is not expected to play in Sunday's game against the Texans. Per beat writer Aaron Wilson, Rice's two-week timetable is "on the safe side." For now, we can consider him questionable for a Week 4 game at Buffalo.

Held the Texans, the second highest scoring team through two games in the AFC and third overall. You're saying they've been held down? I like your insight. I won't even bother to say that Titans have given up 16 less points through two games either compared to the Ravens.

Rice needs to rest up and let the hip heal properly, it is a long season if guys come back too soon they often end up with additional injuries
