You don't hear "Mets" and "Good Bet" in same sentence often, but Giants and Yusmeiro Petit don't deserve to be road favorites over anybody. Petit is 3-0 with a 2.53 ERA, but that won't last much longer for a guy that was out of the majors since 2009 before making one start for the Giants at the end of last year after they had everything clinched, spending some time in the Mexican League and the minors from 2010 to most of 2012, and ever a huge chuck of this year. Meanwhile Zack Wheeler is living up to his hype as he is 7-5 for a losing team with a 3.22 ERA and has allowed three earned runs or less in 12 of his last 13 starts and four runs in the other one. The Giants could not touch him in San Francisco when he allowed one run on only three hits in seven innings.
