    As usual the public gets buried NFL Week 1

    Smoke had the right idea to fade the public, especially in Week 1. Square plays lose big in NFL. I bet the books made a killing today on all the parlays that had New England, Tampa Bay, Indy, Cleveland and Pittsburgh in them.

    days are over with the internet and wealth of information where the public is betting huge still on the Pats laying 9.5 on the road.

    only game public got burned on was Colts.

    I think the public has moved on from Pitt. some one posted a top 10 consensus list earlier and Titans were on there.

    but yeah books cleaned up on Indy and NE, that's bout it.

    I noticed in BTP more picked Tenn. But the 6 point line probably sucked in a bunch of losing teaser action. I didn't see any of that game but saw Ben's pass stats and it wasn't terrible. Pretty amazing they couldn't score.

    the pats, colts and bucs were 3 of the heaviest public side bets of the week.....colts were not the only game.

    Public cleaned up with Seahawks, Chiefs, Titans, Lions, 49ers, Cardinals, Saints, Bengals.

    Just pay attention to line movement. Most of the times it tells you who is going to win or cover.
