    Well I'm not privy to the terms of the suspension. That's why I asked. It most cases, the player serves his time out consecutively. I guess Patterson can have Fields serve it as his discretion, but that's unusual. I thought maybe Fields would sit out the 1st half and return for the 2nd. It's odd to have a player suspended a full game, then a half game, then no game at all, then a half game. Are you trying to tell me that Patterson didn't feel the need to play him at all for the LSU game because it was never in doubt? C'mon man use your brain.

    It was a school suspension. Rumor is that it was because he had an alcohol container in his dorm room. Patterson suspended him for LSU, and played him in 3rd quarter of SELA game to get some reps before Big 12 play. School said he had to sit 2 games, but didn't say when.
