    Broncos/Ravens...what were the refs doing?

    When the Ravens were going down the hall, the offense/defense linesman were being patted down. Has this always gone on and I just have never seen it before?

    Why were a few Ravens players given a pat down by the refs?

    Anyone care to explain that?

    Seems suspect at best.

    not sure if this is it now or not

    but back in the day some lineman would spray their uniforms with PAM or other slippery sprays so that opposing players hands would slide off them and lose leverage
