Situation going on here in Chicago...
Brandon Marshall looked like shit in the last game vs OAK, dropping passes, movement
Now he hasn't been with the team all week, won't be at the final game tomorrow and is expected to rejoin the team at practice Monday
They say he might be having a new procedure on his hip that has had 3 surgeries, or getting a second and third opinion
Told the media yesterday that he feels "rushed" coming back
This is a 6-10, 4-12 team without this guy and if he isn't ready to go next week it's pound city
I think Cinci beats them with or without that head case. Bears haven't seen a real time in a long time.
He's just showing his true colors right now. They've been dormant for a little while. Everyone is more likely to give away who they really are under stress. I would hate to be his wife/girlfriend right now. It's about time for one of "those" situations.

Bengals are a top 3 team in the AFC whereas Bears are not even top 10 in the NFC. Bengals have better offense and their defense is aggressive. Don't even bother taking the points with Bengals. Take the ML because the game ain't gonna be close.

Best move by the Bears for this situation. Give him a "pass" for a number of days to give him time to get the Meds script refilled. He'll be back next week. He wouldn't handle all the questions well. At least everyone but him would think he didn't.
I don't know if this is a situation. Something I am not exactly happy about for sure, but not a situation yet.

I read what's going on with the Bears and I agree they're in for an up hill battle this season. But everyone's got the Packer's picked as the team to beat and I see them has one or two ill placed injuries away from being in nearly the same situation. The Packs loaded with O but light on D and D wins in the post season.

Ol Brandon has managed to find a mike every day so far and give his narcissistic take on all things BRANDON. Have gotten to hear him twice and am greatly looking forward to this bright bulb possibly doing this EVERY DAY!

I'm sure Brandon will have a field day when Brandon plays Brandon's next opponent, the lame Giants. But if I'm Brandon's old lady, just to be safe, I'd make plans to cut out if Brandon doesn't have the game Brandon wants this Thursday whether Brandon's Bears win or lose. Brandon likes to beat Brandon's women when Brandon is feeling a little "off". Maybe Brandon's Bears should spike Brandon's water with Brandon's Meds??
Either way, this is fun watching

I'm completely missing what the big deal is about and what was wrong with anything he said. He's been nothing but a pro and a positive influence on the Bears and hasn't missed a game. He's one of the most articulate and interesting to listen to football players I've ever heard. And I have huge respect for the way he's treated his BPD head on and has spoken out as a positive voice on the subject.This is perfect......

After the game, Marshall was asked about what he thought of his blossoming teammate. "I've always said this guy could be the best to ever do it," Marshall responded. "He's probably going to shatter all the Bears' records by the time he's done at the receiver position."
Marshall just wants to win, I think he could care less about the personal stuff. He's just frustrated that the team has lost the last two. If they win, you don't hear any frustration.

Marshall will be getting some needed attention tonight. He's gonna wear lime green cleats for "Bent Narcissistic Drama Queens of America Unite" Week. The league will fine him and the cameras will come a running. They better not lose to this Gints team or that will be the story and the media won't care about anything else. It's really not about Brandon. Brandon will tell you that.
