    Reminds me when I first started. Was so overwhelmed with games, I bet everything.

    It sucks when you have no idea if you won while sitting in a sports bar, because you can't remember who the hell you bet.

    i never got the idea of limiting yourself, if you find value on 15 games why not bet them all?

    the key is not put too much exposure on one game, if you tend to have a lot of plays they should be a very small % of your bankroll.

    Because variance is a mean spirited bitch.

    And the more games you "like" the more likely you going to lose. No one got rich from gambling by betting the board. Sharps limit themselves to a small board and look for the best angles.

    There isn't enough time in the day to come up and find 18-25 picks on a Saturday that you have a high rate of confidence in, it becomes coin-flipping at that point.

    I load up in the first 3 weeks and then start being a lot more selective after that. Week 1 is the week to beat the books because they are setting odds based on guess work at best. Their computer formulas start to kick in to full gear around week 4.

    countless times I have been there! hahaha. every 10 minutes pulling out a legal pad and flipping through pages.

    3-5 games for me. and then a $5 parlay and teaser for the hell of it. wont even check them until I see the balance the next morning.

    You can't take your experience and extrapolate to others. People can and do win betting 50 games a weekend. If you use the full arsenal (sides, totals, team totals, and 1H and 2H bets), you can find an edge on most games.

    The next time I see someone here (or any board), betting 50+ plus bets on a college football saturday--and earning a profit long term, I will admit to being wrong.

    Until I see it happen, its like Bigfoot to me. Yeah, I hear stories, but I don't believe it for a second.
