Where are my "Live betting" guys on here? Question

Ok, so for the first time in years I put a few bucks on an online site to mess with the LIVE BETTING, because the site I use on my phone in Vegas to bet sucks for it (William Hill).

Am I the only one who thinks this is a total scam the way they run it?

Yesterday I'm trying to unload on the Tigers down 3-2 mid 5th +200.
I instantly fire my wager in and click submit.
It freezes, goes down to +190 lol. So I say ok fukk it I'll let them get me for a few on the price there so I click submit again (This is within 5 seconds), and it goes to +180 hahaha.
So now I'm pissed and I only bet half of what I was originally going to bet because basically they are fkn me out of $40 with the price swing.

It was the 2nd time out of 3 bets I made live betting that the price went against my wager the second I tried betting it.

    Is live betting a scam?
I understand the lines are going to move rapidly but the 200,190,180 jump was virtually impossible within 5 seconds IMO. Because as fast as it went to 190, I couldn't click submit again quick enough and it changed again.

If you think about it, if these greedy pricks did it 70% of your wagers you try making, the average Joe betting it isn't going to care about the price change and continue betting at the new fkd price they gave you.

You already know how pathetic the guys running these sites are because of the way they rig up their casino and poker, but is the line movement really going to be like this every time I try and put a bet in?

And also, whats the best site to use for live betting?
    I'm on betonline right now.

Scam, no. BookMaker was terrible with live betting for a while. However, they updated their software a little while back and it runs much smoother now. Still a bug in the mobile software. Sometimes if you click back and forth between games the top tab will freeze and won't let you go back to the full menu. Only thing to get it back is clear your cookies and history and log back in. You do have to be lightning quick though on the bets. I've had it where the live wagering opens in between an inning, I click to see who's coming up next in the order and the line has jumped 5 or 10 cents already.

No where near as bad as in Vegas though. Bitch at the LVH cost me a dime on a live play on a Yankees game because she was new. She hit the wrong button and had to redo my ticket. Didn't get the bet in correctly before they pulled it off the board. Money was on the table, jerk off manager wouldn't honor the bet. I was pissed.

Yes, BetOnline does this shit constantly. I figured the same after it happened 3 times in a row, and I just stopped bothering with them. I like DSI, although they only offer lines between each half inning, and only ML/total.

I have always had great experiences with 5Dimes live betting. Yes, the lines will move at times, but I tend to think that is other like minded guys trying to do what I'm doing...

Agreed, I understand the instant volume of live betting, and there was no doubt the Tigers were a steal of a price at the time, but it literally gave me no option at when it went from 200 to 190, then to 180.
Definitely smell something fishy on it.
I will see as I keep going this week. But I seriously doubt lines are ever to change IN MY FAVOR like they did with that example there. Gonna go against you 95% of the time I'm sure.

It's not a scam but the vig is usually high. It can be a good way to guarantee a profit but honestly hedging out through live betting is usually -ev, more of a concern for pure math guys. However it is entertaining and thats worth something.

    I NEVER hedge.
I honestly thought the Tigers +200 down 1 run with 12 more outs left was a pretty solid play. Mets WORST pen in MLB.
I think there are times when you're watching a game you can get a feel and catch a few good prices.
There are times when a pitcher gets hit hard for outs, you know he got lucky, and is gonna get tagged still.
Those lines are automatically made, nothing like that is factored in.
Interested to see as I continue but really didn't put enough online to where I can hammer a bunch of big bets doing it and see how it does over a long period of time. No point in risking my money online where it isn't safe when I can bet from my phone adn cash out in 30 seconds here in Vegas.

Ya, I'd have hit +200 as well. Lines can change fast with live betting because the window is small so a few max bets and you go from +200 to +180.

Id probably take the tigers down 1 in the bottom of the 9th if Miggy had 1 more AB
