Virtual Sports, I've looked into this since that pinnacle twitter thing, and I am still not quite sure WTF it is.

It can't be sports games, because outside of FIFA, American's would dominate the sport. So, is it world of warcraft shit?

Chalky, mainly StarCraft 2 an DOTA2. The DOTA tournament last night had 1.5 mill for the first place team of 5. Almost 500k on the live stream. Asians love the sh.t

I think what JJ meant wasn't video games played by real people (in which case by knowing the players you could have some sort of edge), but literally virtual sports. Results are simulated "virtual day to virtual day" and you bet on the results. For example you get 1 min 30 secs to bet per "gameweek" in soccer, and then the results are generated and you win or lose. The odds are similar to those you would find on normal games (there are chalky faves etc) so I would imagine the way they generate the result isn't completely random. I don't know if the % chance a team wins is directly taken from their odds in which case you essentially have no edge. Hard to say if you can have an edge in these games, some people have come up with chase systems claiming they could beat virtual soccer but I have no idea whether any are legit.

You can do parlays and shit with those games too.

Have bet on Starcraft 2 ever since Pinnacle introduced it a couple of years back. Crazy line movement despite it being low limit, also tends to be easy to predict the public money when compared to traditional sports.

DOTA sometimes, but only because a friend of mine has some great knowledge of it. Limits are low til now, but market is growing steadily. I don't give a shit about this though, but sometimes when my buddy makes his bets I throw something on it, too.
