KC Bullpen has been dominant, while the Redsox pen was gas-canned up vs Houston this week.

Lester highly overrated, a road meatballer, and got shelled his last start.
Redsox bats still stay pounding though, and I know it could be a LOT of runs today for you total bettors, but I like being on KC here.
Hard to believe KC has only lost like 5 or 6 games since the All-star break and has LOST ground to the Tigers, who never lose (But will today probably ).

Chen has been solid all year, although mostly in relief, but has proven to be decent starting in spurts here n there,and I like his chances today. He should get some pretty good run support.
Royals 5 games out in the wild card race. REALLY????????? Do they have a shot?

Benny, you're a grade A asshole, and I can appreciate that. Might have been the only person on here who liked reading posts from Baskets and Daimo.

Anyway, I like this play. Chen has been decent. Lester, no opinon.

Some things to be concerned about:

Chen is 3-5 with a +6.00 ERA against Boston.
KC is 5-15 in Chens last 20 stats as an underdog, and and 1-4 in Chen's last 5 against boston.

Sawks are 37-14 in their last 51 as favorites, whereas the Royals are 2-8 in their last 10 vs a team above .600


All that said, I still do lean KC's way, for value reasons alone. Not sure if I'll play it. I know for a fact I wont be on Boston, so good luck!

Actually, the more I look at this, the better KC is looking as a situational play.

Almost want to roll FF, but the KC bullpen is their strength.

I tried being cool with Deemer, he even came to me for MLB advice and we inboxed for a minute.
But he mini-trolled on me a couple times after he went across the street and got laughed back here.
Tried coming back mentioning himself as an "ELITE MLB guy" and a "I bet big" gimmick.

All this after posting up $500 cash and losing in a 100 play heads up contest to the WORST pick-poster I have ever seen in my life- BROCK FUKKIN LANDERS.

IT's hard to hit rockbottom (Mommy's basement making $10 BIG BETS) and still punch through another 20 feet of pavement and get lower, but Deemer has done it.

That's not news sweep. I called him out on that. He said he starts over on his spreadsheet for different reasons. I understand his point. It would be nice to be able to have a running spreadsheet but also segment it at different points if you just wanna track something for a little bit of time. Spreadsheet here is too rigid, need flexibility.
