We are going for our 5^th straight win Tuesday with a pick that I have put immense effort into the entire day, and have circled on my calendar since the beginning of the year. It is by far one of the best times to be a sports handicapper and capitalize on this time to make some money. I tried many times to get some information translated from Arabic newspapers into English on the weekend, I even made a couple of trips to see some Islamic Imans but it was unsuccessful as I couldn’t find any. As I’m sure many here are aware, August 7^th is the last day of Ramadan for Muslims. Why does that matter? For those of you that are oblivious to the correlation in line shifts these past 2 days, let me explain it to you. Ramadan is a period of fasting for Muslims from sunrise to sunset. This includes no eating and drinking, even water! The impact on the physical endurance, mental alertness, and performance of Muslim athletes are being enormously felt throughout the world, but nowhere as much as in Europe and the Middle East. The first time this time of year became a MUST in my methodology was back when the Houston Rockets were in the NBA finals. I’m sure many of you recall the disastrous affect Ramadan had even here in North America when Houston Rocket Hakeem Olajuwon complained about the afternoon games in the NBA finals, as his fatigue set in during the 4^th quarter and had to leave the game to puke in the dressing room before returning light headed. Can you imagine if we could take the affect it can have on one person and multiply it? This is why I turned my attention to the Middle East, specifically teams with hardcore Muslims that are competing against fully fuelled, fed, and hydrated players. After hours and hours of studying the religious backgrounds and salat practices of hundreds of athletes I have arrived at another NO BRAINER. We have Basel from beautiful Switzerland going into Turkey against Tel Aviv. The line shifts have told me all I need to know and more about the validity of my information. I won’t go on anymore because I want to keep this short and sweet.

If you can validate specifically how many players from the starting line up are indeed practicing ramadan to the letter, including not drinking water (there are exemptions,) then you have a valid point. But even if this is true, it wont be a secret that you have suddenly unraveled....
Its a toin coss imo, major prolem is Basle dont have to win to go through - DNB/PK should be considered imo.
