Jets have a good defense. The offense will improve. They added Ivory, Geno Smith, and a 2nd year with offensive coordinator. They are not a good team, but not bottom 5. I would say about 9th worst.

My pre-season numbers have these 5 as the worst teams, in order of putridity.......

Oakland - Barren across the board. Their best player is SeaBass the kicker
Arizona - Carson Palmer ain't gonna save ya. Just ask the Raiders.
KC - Lost by an average of 14 last year. They bring in HC Reid, whose Eagles lost by an ave of 11. Yikes.
Jax - The only thing worse than their offense is their defense. Adios, Rivera.
Cleve - Terrible QB, terrible Special Teams. Bad combo.

There is no question that Oakland and Jacksonville are the two worst teams going into this season. Arizona won't be all that bad. They have a pretty damn good defense and a stud WR. Arizona will be bad, but I'm not sure about bottom 5 bad.

I have little, if any faith in my Eagles this year but would hope that some are right in this thread about Dallas being in the bottom 5 of the league. That would make for some very unhappy trailer park inhabitants this coming year.

Why would Dallas being a bad team make you and your family unhappy?

I think you're way off. Eagles under my boy Chip Kelly are going to be middle of the pack at worst. He revolutionized College ball and I hope he does the same in the pro's. He coaches the game the right way, his teams don't punt everytime it's 4th and 2, they don't take the foot off the gas in close games and 'play not to lose'.

A mind like this in the NFL can accomplish some great things.

Remember when the Cards went on that huge losing streak last year. They showed their true colors there. They are good for 5 wins tops. 4 is logical.

stafford is a strange one. he can be great or he can suck badly. I don't know if it has to do with mental focus or the team and the coach but unless he shows some consistency he won't be able to prove his critics wrong, because a lot of them are already saying he didn't deserve the money...

    Raiders, no QB
Jets, see Raiders, and no skill players
Jags, no QB plus bad D
    Bills, again no QB,
Chargers, Browns, Lions and Cards are near the bottom but wont be in the running for first pick in the draft.

I was just thinking, these are the teams with the worst QB situation going into 2013. It makes sense, in a QB-driven league, teams with a bad QB situation will be bad teams in general. One extra team to think about, with a bad QB situation, is the Browns.

My top five worst teams are 1- jags, 2- titans 3- raiders 4-browns and 5- chiefs. The jets actually have a shot at being a wildcard this coming season. Even if they don't I can see a nine win season for them despite all the drama. No way are the jets in the bottom five.

No way Chargers are that bad. So, your saying that the Titans and the Chiefs are better than San Diego? The Bills and Miami aren't even as decent as the Chargers. Come on! As long as Rivers plays he will keep them out of that bottom five.

chargers are not in my bottom 5, but it was refreshing to see one poster name them seeing how they always seem to shoot themselves in the foot.

    i'm in agreement.

plus - the Bills with a 1st year NFL HC this year will face 3 opponents that are post-BYE with 2 of them being back2back, @ Dolphins oct. 20, @ Saints oct. 27 and finally vs. NYJ nov. 17 with their own post-BYE game being vs. Falcons dec. 1.

I'd have to go with Jax followed by Oak and then the Jets.
