    That would have been Pitcher Bill Voiselle, who pitched for the New York Giants, Boston Braves and Chicago Cubs from 1942 to 1950. Voiselle came from Ninety-six, South Carolina, and proudly wore number 96 on his jersey in honor of his hometown.
